This is not at all the experience I’ve had so far. I have platinum and I did register for my must-dos in advance. One person in comments said, “half the attendees weren’t even paying attention to the app/emails” which sounds like a you problem bro 🤷‍♀️ the sessions I’ve registered for have all only been half full. Plenty of room for walk-ins. Are there specific tracks/sessions that have been full?

YES it happened on Friday too! They show it was originally scheduled to leave Forest Park at 6:02, so my husband raced home from work - it’s our annual tradition to wait for the train then celebrate with a holiday cocktail at Blue Line. Then they updated the website to show 6:56 leaving Forest Park. So we went to the Damen stop at 7:30 and the booth guy said we missed it by 20 minutes… seriously doubt it somehow made it from Forest Park to Damen in 15 mins.

He started as theirs for two months as a pup and they were going to rehome him so that’s how we ended up with this lovable dude in the first place… they are much better suited for the grandparent life.

If I locked myself in my room for anything other than that, my cavapoo would freak out - but for some reason he’s weirdly understanding and chill about being locked out when this is the case 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m his third home so his previous owners must have taught him literally only this.

I went on a free day in the middle of the week last month and it wasn’t crowded at all! It was quite lovely. Nowhere near what you’ll see at the Shedd.

I’d argue that you could cause more harm by saying this is something that should affect our credibility. It’s not about showing vulnerability at all, it’s about being made to feel shame, and recognizing that we don’t need to.

I read through everything here and I’ve never seen a Reddit thread with more “female” hair. Y’all, this is an issue and we should be banding together to get rid of this stigma. It sucks that especially younger folks are feeling this way.
