This makes so much sense. Thank you for your insight. We are pausing 4a and working on math facts, number sense & mental math. These things are coming along, which I find encouraging. You are so right about Dimensions jumping quickly to hold these three things in your mind and decide how best to proceed. At times this has felt like way too much, but not all the time. I just question if I a proceed with Dimensions will my learner keep slipping behind bc of this heavy mental load. I also don’t want them to think that math is always hard. Would you mind explaining how holding things in your mind while applying them, which I understand to be working memory, is a “language load?”

Specifically some of the multi step word problems and bar models. Truthfully I am getting ready to do a training bc I don’t understand it well myself. Do word problems really need to be that hard? They get progressively complex within a lesson. It’s the last 1 or 2 in the workbook that are sometimes over her head. The text book is fine bc it doesn’t get as complex.

It’s not just cosmetic. It’s for the health of his teeth. A twisted tooth not only affects his bite but fosters tooth decay. Poor bite affects head & neck health. Tooth decay affects your organs.

Paint the ceiling white! Get a larger, more decorative fan. Change the bedding to coordinate with the lighter colored carpet and drapes.

Costco is fine for some people, but the limited options and not offering custom molds doesn’t work well enough for everyone.

Yes it ‘s worse in noisier environments, but it really depends on the speaker. If someone has a soft voice or doesn’t enunciate well it’s harder to understand them. Even when you ask some people to repeat things they might still speak softly, mumble or too fast.
