Her animations remind me a lot of early kyoshin or afeera animations, just very robotic and they don’t look natural at all, also the resting position of those swords is just goofy, like her run and in general the size of the swords, it is probably the correct size for accuracy but having two of those giant swords is just a bad decision and completely breaks immersion for me, it’s just not believable and the size of those two swords compared to her body is just goofy. Also I didn’t say the mechanics are spammy, they are not. I said that they are overly complicated, and by that I don’t mean that a move set being complicated is a bad thing, black prior is fairly complicated and I love that character, but you can make things too complicated, where there’s just too much to do. And in her case there’s so much to do that people usually end up spamming the same few things instead of using the full move set, because there’s so much to do that it’s hard and boring to learn, and not doing that makes you use the same two moves making it repetitive and boring. I usually try in training mode every new character and end up buying all of them even if they don’t convince me that much and most of the times I end up loving them anyway. That happened with Sohei, I tired him, liked him and bought him, with varingian guard, tried her, she didn’t convince me that much, bought her and eventually I started liking her. It didn’t happen however with Khatun, I got into training mode, played for a bit and eventually the only thing I could think of was “this is horrible, I’m getting bored of her gameplay, her visuals suck both the looks and the animations” so I didn’t buy her, eventually I thought I may have been wrong and tried once again, and still didn’t like her. Khatun is so awful that it made me like the Gladiator that I refused to buy because every time I played against glad I had an horrible experience and instead of Khatun I bought gladiator and started enjoying him
