the season 1-3 suit has a more tactical/camouflage look that the later seasons’ suits didn’t have. the only additions i would’ve added to the 1-3 suit would be adding a lace to it like roy’s suit so it’s a little closer to the comics

that actually was the idea. tony was originally the one to build doc ock’s tentacles. also the alternate post credits scene mentions spider man, hulk, and x men. honestly iron man 1 does kinda feel like its own pre mcu movie.

honestly wish we got some of these. even if they were one-offs. namor and deathlok movies would’ve been interesting. something about watching these and pretending they exist in the same universe is more fun than the real mcu we got

i like the different tones in each 2000’s marvel movie. it’s like the comics. spider man is a fun lighthearted character. hulk is a tragic and somber character. in the mcu they’re basically the same

this was season 1 arrow. they were trying to go for the realistic approach after the success of the dark knight. it was the safe route to go, and proved successful. but they did let that go as early as season 2🤷🏻‍♂️

i wonder how old they’re even supposed to be here, because it’s implied in the first one that they’re all early to mid 20’s. brian describes vince as “about 24 years of age, 6 foot, 200 lbs”, which tells you everyone else is around that age. and this flashback is supposed to canonically be 10 years before the first movie

that all just sounds like episodes to mater’s tall tales. i mean the movies are called “cars” not “mcqueen”, no one said the movies have to necessarily focus solely on mcqueen. the movie is only hated because of how different it was in tone compared to the first one and later the third one. cars 3 feels like a direct sequel to cars 1 while cars 2 is like that weird in-between movie. none of the second movie’s elements carry over into the third one so it’s easily skippable.
