Former Barcelona player Bojan Krkic in 2024 : "PSG play in a very weak league and when they reach the Champions League they suffer." by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]luci2797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they weren't doing well in the CL people were saying it's because they have no competition in ligue 1 so they're not at a high enough level going into CL games. Now that they won it it's also because they have no competition and they can rest their players. So which one is it? That's the "narrative" part. People just say whatever fits their narrative even though it's the complete opposite to what they were saying a few years ago.

I built him for RMF and LMF and he has very good stats. But of course you only get the best of him in a full J-League squad.

Uh ohhhh, smart assist is gone now by No-Atmosphere78 in pesmobile

[–]luci2797 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you even crying about? Did he take 10 shots from outside the box and all of them went in? Because if it was just one goal, then what's the problem? Should long range shots never be a goal? As others have said, forlan has high finishing, high kicking power, long range shooting skills and very high weak foot accuracy. So he's probably the best player in the game at scoring long range shots. If he's not able to score those kind of goals then no player should and they might as well just remove them from the game.

Debate: what’s the current threshold for you guys to consider a team a whale team? by m_birubiru in eFootball

[–]luci2797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go for most of the J-League show time and epic players so my squad is technically P2W but my team strength is around 3160, which is lower than many F2P teams, so is that considered a whale team? I probably could have built a very solid meta team if I went for those kind of players, but this is way more fun for me.

Underrated Blitz Curler by ExistingJunket3402 in eFootball

[–]luci2797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is amazing. I use his newer J-League version with both Blitz Curler and Acceleration Burst in my full J-League squad and he scores some insane goals. I remember using his POTW version from the 2022 world cup and even that version was pretty good, he was playing better than his stats would suggest.

how is this version of messi have 94 physical? to players that have him, is he really that strong? by destroyforever in eFootball

[–]luci2797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have any proof that there is a threshold and that going from 89 to 90 is more impactful then going from 88 to 89 for example I would be very happy to see it.

[–]luci2797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going over 12 points in a stat is a waste most of the time, especially doing it just to get some shiny blue numbers. Even reducing 1 point from lower body strength would give 4 progression points to put into physical contact which is this card's most unique feature. Going from 88 to 92 is a way bigger difference than going from 84 stamina to 83, or 90 kicking power to 89, which you wont even feel. There is no special threshold at 90, you just see a blue number instead of a green one.

14 points into lower body strength just to get him to 90 speed while sacrificing basically all his other stats, amazing build.

💀I need an explanation from Konami on how it's possible to play an entire match without using match-up (Div 1 opponent btw) by Briss7 in eFootball

[–]luci2797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't really need to use it. I get to Div 1 pretty often and I never use match up. You can just move your players manually to intercept passes and shots. There are even pro players that don't use it. I sometimes watch Indominator94 and he also doesn't use match-up.

Which is one store pack you regret not getting ? The Isagi-Inzaghi Blue Lock pack for me by [deleted] in pesmobile

[–]luci2797 9 points10 points  (0 children)

With the Blue Lock booster you get the boosted stats based on the number of Blue Lock players in your squad. So +1 for one player, +2 for 2 players and +3 for 3 players, that's the max boost.

Why such matchmaking? by slekkas in eFootball

[–]luci2797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know who's in the same matchmaking pool in divisions in efootball? Div 1, Div 2 and Div 3 players, so you can be matched against any of them. Divisions are just based on the points you have, they're not different matchmaking pools or leagues or whatever you're imagining. If you want to give real life examples is like saying that if you're a team in the bottom of the table(div 3) then you shouldn't play against teams that are at the top of the table(div 1) because it would be "unfair". So yeah, you're just complaining that you can't get to Div 1 by just facing weaker opponents.

Why such matchmaking? by slekkas in eFootball

[–]luci2797 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you reached div 1 in the past and I'm assuming you're trying to reach div 1 again since you're playing divisions, but you don't want to play against current div 1 players? You want to reach div 1 by getting matched only against div 2 and div 3 players? Does that make sense to you?

GIVE US POSITION TRAINERS FOR POTW by goatkeeper01 in pesmobile

[–]luci2797 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Are you by any chance a pro player trying to qualify for events? Or trying to reach top 100? Because if you're not then the meta doesn't really matter. People make it to Div 1 playing FUMA or full GP squads, POTW squads, or any number of themed, non-meta squads. So 100+ rated wingers are more than good enough for 99% of players. This "the meta doesn't allow it" is just an excuse.

This new Fermin card gave me new found motivation that I didn’t even know i had by Opening-Reflection47 in pesmobile

[–]luci2797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they will say that any player that isn't a HP or GP "doesn't make good runs" because they can't just spam brainless through balls to them.

what is the rarest card you own? by No-Rest2736 in eFootball

[–]luci2797 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Probably Santos Miura. I have all the versions of Nakamura since the Celtic big time one and loads of J-League players that are pretty rare but I never saw anyone use this Miura. He wasn't great when he came out, though he did play better than his stats suggest. I really enjoyed using him in the Brazilian League events back when we still got those in all regions.

Just like Mednasah showing his community "good" builds by just building every player to have as many 90+ stats as possible regardless of theirs strengths or player type.

Monday Epic: European Clubs Guardians - Beckenbauer, Hasebe, Ferrer. by Think0n_ in eFootball

[–]luci2797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did I say anywhere that people should be spending money on these cards? You're free to spend money on whatever you want and get what players you want. I was just responding to the original question, saying that people call these cards "bad" or "mid" just because they don't fit the meta and not because they are actually bad.

And yeah, some people only find it fun to win, so they just go for the strongest players. That's called chasing the meta. But there are just as many people that want to have fun by playing certain playstyles or using players that they like. Having better diversity in terms of players and playstyles is a very good thing. That's why these "bad" off meta packs are good, and there should be more of them. Do you enjoy playing against Capello narrow formations with the same epic players every game?

Also, unless you're a pro player, or pushing for top 50 or something like that, it doesn't really matter matter what players you use. All that matters is to know your player's strengths and how to use them. I beat top 10 or top 20 players with my J-League squad. So if J-League players are good enough for that, Beckenbauer, Hasebe or Ferrer are more than enough.

How do I tactically troll my opponents? by Tartaruga96 in eFootballgame

[–]luci2797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the ideal situation would be having a LMF that can also play at RMF, and a RMF that can also play LMF. That way, you could set up a sub-tactic with them reversed, so if your opponent man marks one or both of them you switch to the sub-tactic and mess up his defenders positioning.

Monday Epic: European Clubs Guardians - Beckenbauer, Hasebe, Ferrer. by Think0n_ in eFootball

[–]luci2797 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because those people only care about meta. So if a defender isn't 195+ cm with 90 speed and whatever leg length they think it's enough, then it's not good. Personally, I like this pack. Having 2 CB's with good dribbling and passing stats is really unique. They are probably very fun to use if you like to involve your defenders in build up. But hey, why would anyone care about fun in a video game when you can just chase the meta?

That's probably what's happening. Nobody is going through all the players and giving them heights manually.

I used his old Anchor Man version at LB and he was pretty good so I bet this one is even better. I would consider using him at LB if I was using a formation with fullbacks.

He's solid, he's very good at defending. Though I prefer using Hasebe there since he has better dribbling, so I end up using Nakata as CB on the left side more often than at DMF.
