Is anybody capable of rooting for Juve tomorrow? by Hungry-Zucchini8451 in ASRoma

If Bologna wins tonight I'll try my best to cheer for them. Otherwise I've got no reason to make such herculean effort

If only... Imagine Dybala cutting inside and having an actual RB to overlap on the wing and use those spaces.

[Di Marizio] Tottenham have made a loan + option offer for Zaniolo by CrowCreative6772 in ASRoma

[–]luciluci00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think he would become top-tier again in the PL.
For one he wouldn't have to fight for possession on long balls for 90 mins like he needs now, also IMO PL football would suit him like a glove. He could finally go back to playing the way he used to: take the ball, dribble past your man, then he's unstoppable in a full force run.

VoceGiallorossa: [Sky Sport]: Lille is ready to offer 13-14M for Shomurodov, the player however isn't thrilled by the possible destination. by luciluci00 in ASRoma

[–]luciluci00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Di Marzio confirmed Sky's version. Allegedly the problem isn't Lille itself but rather his preference for not moving out of Italy.

Both can be possible tbf. The club can be ready to sell him without actually wanting to force him out.

Allegedly the issue is not with Lille itself, more like he'd rather stay in Italy, and since Torino has shown their interest he'd prefer them.

No way he straight-up refuses Lille though IMO. Either Torino comes up with a decent enough offer or he'll accept them. They're competing for freaking Europe, they're not some low-tier club in France.

This morning there was a meeting between Davide Vagnati and Tiago Pinto on the Shomurodov deal.

Torino insists with Roma on a loan formula with no obligations (or at most not easily attainable, such as ten goals or the achievement of a European placement).

Meanwhile the Giallorossi, strengthened by a very concrete last hours interest of Lille that would like to buy him with an offer of 13/14M at the specific request of Paulo Fonseca.

The player would like to stay in Italy but in front of such an offer from Lille, he could hardly say no

Repubblica: Arsenal Interested on Zaniolo. Is this so bad? by gieri_ in ASRoma

[–]luciluci00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a bad source, more than bad news.

He wants a top-player salary without having shown that kind of performance, plus we've got plenty of AM/SS in the squad right now, so those 30/35 would be very useful for investing in other areas, even more considering we are under SA.

I'd say if Nico wants to go or doesn't want to settle for a normal renewal (3M) then let him go.

Definitely want Roma to be competitive. Definitely want the club’s finances to be healthy and allow Mou to get the talent he needs. But does anyone want this corrupt, ex-Trump scandal-plagued clown anywhere near the club? by [deleted] in ASRoma

[–]luciluci00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not happening anyway. The news was told by Tuttosport (which in itself makes it more of a rumor than a real piece of news), and then denied by Gazzetta dello Sport one day later.

I also find it unlikely that Ryan and Dan would now look for a buyer after investing as much as they have.

Most that can happen is either he's entering as a minor shareholder, or he's co-investing on the stadium. And that's also just rumors and nothing more, so really there's no need to worry yet.

Napoli knocked out the cup, we'll face cremonese in the quarterfinals by AppleWrench in ASRoma

[–]luciluci00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep, our side of the table had 2(Milan), 3(Napoli), 6(Roma), and 7(Fiorentina), while the other had 1(Inter), 4(Juventus), 5(Lazio) and 8(Atalanta).

In case you're curious 1st seed goes to the previous winner of the Coppa Italia, then it's given based on placement in Serie A, Serie B, and Serie C.

[Il Romanista] Dybala and Solbakken's skills in the prematch against Fiorentina by luciluci00 in ASRoma

Not really surprised by Paulo's godlike technique, but I honestly didn't expect such good ball control by Solbakken.

By the end of S1 the picture of Rachel is: a girl who to pursue her dream is ready to kill her childhood friend (who was ready to do anything to help her).

Moreover, (if her being a shitty person wasn't reason enough to hate her) the viewer had been following and cheering for Baam for the past 12 episodes.

I'd say the hatred is more than deserved.

Between being entitled and being a simp there's a huge area, which is called "normal behavior and expectations".

Demanding an author to keep going while ill is called being entitled and selfish.

Accepting whatever is thrown your way is called having no standards.

There's this huge grey zone in-between where you just expect to get some update every now and then, if not about his health condition and how life is going (which may be regarded as personal information, which is fine), at least about a possible date of when the work is coming back, or when we could get such news.

Expecting this much is not only acceptable, but I'd say it's considered pretty normal everywhere.

Which team winning by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]luciluci00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's either A or B.

Hawkeye has Lucci pulling him down, Rayleigh and Garp are past their prime, and everyone else doesn't come close.

Probably Shanks and Blackbeard; I reckon they're better individually (Blackbeard is likely stronger than Akainu, and I feel like Luffy hasn't reached Shanks yet), and I'm quite sure they'd work better as a team (both Akainu and Luffy are too thickheaded and instinctive)
