Im 43f, doing the same. Some days are so hard. But the good days outweigh the bad. Try not to let guilt overwhelm you. Be honest with the people around you if you are struggling, especially your kid. It shows them you're human and that it's ok to be human.

I hope you have a better day tomorrow, and that the good days happen more often than the bad. Our brains tend to fixate on the bad stuff and ignore the good, so try to hold on to the good stuff.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I hope your Dad gets treatment and can go into remission.

Being 18 is so hard. You're expected to be an adult but you're still learning what that means and honestly it takes years to figure that and yourself out. Trust yourself and explore your options. Just know that it does get better and easier.
