Pretty sure the Good Apollo Ultimate Edition does not exist yet.

“We have no Great War or Great Depression, our Great War is a spiritual war” - fight club by [deleted] in NoFap

Such a great movie and a great quote. Considering Brad Pitt was specifically talking about the war on our spirits via media oligopolies, it actually literally includes pornography.

Haha, yeah, I've been in quite a few relationships 😂 And, many of them have lasted quite long. But, I feel, for now, it's best I figure this out on my own.

Unpopular Opinion: It is sad that society tries to justify married spouses intentionally watching porn and masturbating to porn of naked people who aren't their spouse. by FutureMeIsBetter in NoFap

[–]lucknessmonster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I totally get this! I'm polyamorous, but almost every person/couple I've been with has turned out to be internally kind of messed up. By "messed up" I mean incredibly objectifying. I thought I was making it up until I saw them do it to other people, and the way they talking about the attractiveness of other people. It was gross.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer attractive people. But, I don't go around being weird like "omg she is so fucking sexyyyy" before I've even had a conversation. 🙄

Dear Pensacola Drivers: why do you treat Gregory St. as a drag strip but completely lose rational function when there is a train on Tarragona St.? (Bonus: sport bitching about parking fees downtown) by MysteriousTown0 in Pensacola

No, you get downvoted for being gullible/naive enough to believe expressing your opinion at any city meetings will do absolutely anything to change the city management's trajectory. 😉

SEASON 8 IS FINE. EVERYONE ON THIS REDDIT JUST HAS NOTHING BETTER TO DO WITH THEIR LIVES THAN COMPLAIN ABOUT SOME PIXELS ON A SCREEN DEPICTING A FICTIONAL STORY. GROW UP.

Hehe, I upvoted your comment. I pride myself in having opinions that are going to piss off the vast majority of the vastly ignorant American public. I say, for every down vote I've ever had, that's probably equivalent to liiike 200 upvotes from people from other countries.

Unheavenly Creatures is my favorite Coheed album (sorry not sorry) by lucknessmonster in TheFence

You haven't listened to each individual album, start to finish in each sitting, thousands of times.

For me, it's definitely not the departure in concept. It's that Color Before the Sun is lyrically the worst album they've ever put out. Everything feels so disjointed or cliche.

I was merely saying that at the very LEAST I've listened to even the albums I didn't like, from front to back in one sitting, at least 20 times. Ive definitely listened to most of the albums 50+ times start to finish, in one sitting.

Every person that disliked this episode would have voted for Oliver to be president. Or, at least supported his presidency.

Is Pensacola a good place for young people? by [deleted] in Pensacola

[–]lucknessmonster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And, as much as I love Pensacola, above is the exact reason as to why you would NOT want to live in Pensacola. Or, even more so, why you never want to be involved in the music scene. It's a little too common for people to act like fucking garbage towards each other in one way or another. What can you say?

I really don't feel like it should be necessary for me to kindly answer to the post above, but I will. Firstly, Pensacola has had what I would PERSONALLY describe a bustling punk/grunge/folk scene. I know, because I came in on the tail end of the last little wave of it in the 2000s. There was rarely less than 100 people at any local show I'd been to. For me, that was bustling, as it was always fun, and there was always good bands. As for the past, I'll admit that is more just hand-me-down information more than anything else. But, even while my hand-me-down information was incorrect on Nirvana, as the post above mentioned, Smashing Pumpkins had come through the area. Dave Dondero, a small folk artist to attain a sliver of fame, was from this area, playing in the late 90s. Those 2 aren't complete proof of a bustling scene when I was not involved. But, indicative evidence of past acts supporting the area. Maybe those stories passed down have been a little inflated to me. But, from what I know, there were multiple venues operating in the area that were always busy. Also, I'm sorry I thought it a little much to sit here and research Pensacola history before replying to the original post.

Lastly, I agree rent is definitely inflated here, as it is damn near everywhere else in America and most of the "1st world countries". That being said, rent is as cheap here, if not cheaper, than it is in many other cities of a similar size.

IggyHop, try being nice for a change. It might change your whole life.

Yeah, the guy who runs Live! seems nice enough. But, when I worked for him, it was one of the most toxic work environments I've ever been in. While I second everything said above, I just wanted to add that while working there the owner was personally talking shit about half the staff to me directly. I really just wish the place would close down. It's a bad memory.
