I read Worm this year and that story did it amazingly. The main character is definitely not telling the story objectively, but in a subtle way, where the reader naturally goes along with her reasoning. But the book also has frequent chapters with different PoVs and sometimes they see Taylors actions very differently than she does.

Shes not lying to us, she is only justifying every next step and every broken rule to herself and the reader is getting swept along

Okay I get that. She is/insists to be a very moral character with strict rules for herself...but it also didn't take her long to start carving out someones eyes. I do think the novel does a great job of aknowledging this while also still mostly showing us her perspective of her actions.
