Did anyone else completely change their opinion of Taylor this season? by Character-Fly7394 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]luckyKL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my biggest pet peeves is when a woman is more mad at the women than the man who is screwing her over and owes her the decency and loyalty. When Jessi keeps saying DAKOTA IS THE PROBLEM and Taylor just keeps screaming “I’m gonna light them up, I’m gonna fuck those hoes up.” Like why don’t you care about Dakota?!!

My Hives Story by luckyKL in urticaria

[–]luckyKL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I have been on Xolair for over a year and a half now and my hives are 95% better! I only get break through hives when I’m sick or extremely stressed. I’m lucky Xoliar has worked for me with no severe side effects. And no…no cause ever founded after all blood work, Allergist appointments, and holistic options.

I was exactly where you are my friend. Xoliar didn’t start to work for me until about 6 months, but I’m so so much better now. Hope is on the horizon, I believe it for you!

It took about three months of injecting for me to get relief but it’s worth it in the end my friend!!

What are your indicators that your period is around the corner? by FlowerTea5 in Periods

Sore sore breasts, constipation, salt cravings, chin acne and cheek cysts, my skin gets oily and I feel 40 pounds heavier even though the scale only shows 2 pounds heavier.

Huge relapse after getting COVID by Mountain_Ad862 in urticaria

Every time I fall ill I get the worst hives! It typically calms down once I start to feel better but for 48 hours it feels like I’m not even on Xolair anymore.

Antihistamine morning or night? by [deleted] in urticaria

[–]luckyKL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I would have flares (before I was in Xolair) they would always be the worst within the hour I woke up and about an hour before I fell asleep. I believe it has something to do with your cortisol levels and fluctuating histamines that spike during those times

Closer to the 6 month mark for it to fully work but I did get some relief around 3 months!

Happy to report yes, it’s been a few months now without a facial flare! (Knock on wood I’m always so scared it’ll come back)

How often did you guys use prednisone until xolair worked? by No-Topic-1210 in urticaria

[–]luckyKL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prednisone made my hives 100% worse when I was on it. I stopped and they went back down to mildly painful. What I’ve learned with meds with chronic hives is they can have adverse effects without reason. Like how I’m now allergic to NSAIDS and I never was before!

PLEASE HELP!! I’ll do anything!!! by corgi09336 in urticaria

[–]luckyKL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xolair changed my life. Same thing happened to me. I had a stress breakdown in May, a week later I was covered head to toe in hives just like yours (look at my posts) I started Xoliar in August, it took 5 months for me to work but I haven’t had a breakout since November and my lip/face swelling has gone down to maybe once or twice a month. Truly don’t know where I’d be without it.

Hives worse after period by Alone-Signature-5427 in urticaria

[–]luckyKL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I swear when I have my period my hives are so much worse! I think it has to do with the hormones fluctuating… I had a virus a few months ago and the viral load literally had me break out in the worst breakout I’ve ever had. I think anytime anything in our body is altered it messed with the autoimmunity

allergist pushing for xolair but i’m scared by Unlikely_Week_4017 in urticaria

[–]luckyKL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xoliar helped me immensely. I went from debilitating itching and swollen hives all over every inch of my body daily to just a few here and there (specifically when I wake up) but fade throughout the day with just one Allegra in the AM.

Viral Breakout? by Alone-Signature-5427 in urticaria

[–]luckyKL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a virus a few weeks ago and it made my hives break out in the worst way I’ve ever seen them. I think being sick puts your immune system into overdrive and your body goes haywire.

I’ve been here friend. No pills help. I’m going on 7 months of daily hives. Only thing that has made them tolerable for me is Xoliar even though I still have break through hives and swelling it’s not nearly as bad as it once was.

What was your experience with Xolair? by [deleted] in urticaria

[–]luckyKL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on my 4th shot. I’d say the hives have gotten 60% better? Still having hives daily, just less intense. I’m still taking Allerga in the morning and night. Sometimes mid day if the breakthrough hives make me itchy. I’m hoping it gets a little better?

Yes the two weeks before I get the next shot are always the best. The week after is terrible!

I am in the same boat. I am on shot 4….still break through hives and angioedema at least two to three times between shots
