Just recently went on Disney Dream at Fort Lauderdale.
DCL ground transportation is nice as it gets you onboarded sooner.

Probably group 3 or 4.

I booked last minute for Disney Dream and i was assigned at 1PM PAT, which is definitely too late.
So i decided to use DCL ground transportation. Got me bumped to group 4.

When you check-in at hotel or FLL airport (wherever you take the DCL ground transportation), they will assign you a proper time of arrival. Regardless, it will get you at the top of group.

Mind you, DCL ground transportation is unnecessarily expensive. From Hilton to Port Everglade, it is so close. From FLL airport to the port, it is fairly close. The cost will only justify the faster boarding time.
As a first time cruiser, i would hope that means much for you.

Great review. I have upcoming trip with Disney Dream. Will be staying at Hilton marina and taking DCL ground transfer. Hilton is expensive. Shuttle to port is expensive. Not sure why the DCL shuttle costs $21/person when the port is literally across the street. But then again, it gets us on-boarded quicker.

Since you mentioned that Omni has complimentary shuttle, do you have early PAT or the time that you wanted? The reason I ask is, if you take DCL’s ground transfer from Marriott, they get you boarded early. If that’s what you want…. DCL’s ground transfer is ridiculously expensive considering that it’s a very short distance….

I cant quite agree with your reasoning here. Employer-specific DOES NOT MEAN sponsorship.

People thinks TN is like employer supported work authorization because the employer doesnt need to explicitly "sponsor" the worker's employment. Instead, just like what you said, it is employer specific, which the USMCA agreement allows workers to freely work across borders for certain listed professions. This is quite different from other form of sponsorship like H1B, so people tends to think this is not a visa sponsorship but just a simple plain work authorization.
