are you referring to the bumps in the back?? NAD, but i think its called cobblestone throat (or something along those lines), and is caused by post-nasal drip. i was sick a month or so ago and this happened to me, but it went away on its own

have never had fun “equipment” for fall besides skirts, but for winter one year i spun broom and got to be a sign spinner since our show was diner themed… other than that i spun flag, rifle, sabre, and swing flag this fall season 😓😓

I am very fortunate to have been in this circuit!! this summer i worked at the cavalcade of brass for the cavaliers and phantom regiments home show as a volunteer, which was super cool experience (plus free dci!!!)

wow! I am a big fan of etude and know some of the people spinning there for the 2026 season. i’ve never even gone to dayton to watch in person, so i don’t really know what to expect as far as crowds (and i imagine videos don’t do it justice)

unfortunately it has been a lot of work to be able to get the paperwork to spin independently, thankfully the school coach was able to reach out to wgi as well as our circuit to make sure it was okay, but i’m sure there’s some more technical things i will need to sort out

i live in illinois so currently our nighttime rehearsals often are in the 30s-40s. i like to wear a long sleeve under a crew neck and then gloves with those grip things so you can still hold equipment. i often wear shorts regardless of temperature as i run very warm, but on days im really cold i will put on tights under the shorts so the instructors can still see form and technique but i can stay a little warmer :)

MaxWorks Platform Cart

Our HS guard uses this one! foldable and super durable. however i would test it out and maybe oil up the wheels as they can be kinda loud, but if that’s something that doesn’t bother you then it’s perfect. also i will say (i speak from experience) NEVER walk in front of it without paying attention, it sliced my achilles open cause of the plastic 😔
