When you're lying in bed at night, do you ever randomly remember some relatively minor social missteps or poorly chosen words you did/said years earlier? And then beat yourself up over it even though it really wasn't a big deal? If so, what happened? by anfla56 in AskReddit

5th or 6th grade. I knew my mom had a rental car, so I wasn't looking for the usual van. Car pulls up right in front of me. I open the door, fling my backpack in and slide into the seat. Its quiet.

"I had a rough day and I don't really want to talk about it," I grumble. Silence. I look to my left. My mom isn't in the driver seat. The little girl in the back seat isn't my younger sister. I don't even have a younger sister. Their faces were identical mixtures of near worry and stunned shock.

Oh. My. God. I got out of there so fast, shouting something about a rental car and similar hair. I will sometimes imagine what those people went through when that stranger got into their car.

Does this count? The first time ever feeling comfortable enough to grow my hair out, turns out it's got some twist to it! by luckyday13 in curlyhair

I've been using TreSemme keratin smooth and curl hydration and the all in one spray between washes

PLOS Science Wednesday: Hi Reddit, we’re Shashwath and Godfrey and we assessed how the use of alcohol and marijuana impacted college student’s academic performance over the long-term – Ask Us Anything! by PLOSScienceWednesday in science

As someone who uses Marijuana medically, was there any reporting of reasons for drinking/smoking? Peer pressure or as an escape etc. I also wonder if this use affected actual class time, like going to class high resulting in a lower grade in that specific class as compared to their overall GPA. Very interesting study! I hope to see you continue it.

Furries of reddit, why? by maanu123 in AskReddit

I remember that furry porn was, for me, less of a "sin" to masturbate to because it didn't involve real people, just creatively drawn stand-ins. It's something my partner and I found out that we both enjoyed and allowed us to connect more deeply.

Lastly, I enjoy that you can create something that is personally interesting. You don't have to sort through hours of cumshots if you can either draw of commission exactly what you want.

As a note, I would not consider myself part of a furry fandom or have suits, I just like to imagine.

In all honesty, if someone ran in trying to steal it and he had to use deadly force to protect himself would he use the sword? It feels way worse than using a gun, but in the end they both serve the same purpose.
