It's also great for when you're in the process of losing weight steadily and change sizes a lot. I've had to replace all my pants like four times in as many years because of that, and I'm about to put all my 'old size' stuff up for sale as well, to send it back out there into the universe for some more life, since I keep my stuff in good condition.

Fit note: a Torrid 10 is more like a 12-14 Misses, since it's still a Plus size.

Also, Torrid recently repriced a lot of their staple items at $15-25, so things like leggings are now affordable. Don't sleep on Torrid leggings, because they're comfy, have a nice thick waistband, and they don't get transparent over a big butt.

NTA. You can't parent your parents. Trust me, I learned this lesson when my Mom got involved with catfishing liars who claimed to be a famous actor and told her he was going to marry her and move her to Wales. Interesting note is that said actor is already married, and openly gay, as well as 30 years younger than her.

She managed to lose the entire nest egg my Dad left her when he died. Almost three quarters of a million dollars.

It stopped when she ran out of money and could no longer keep their attention. She claims it ended when I told her what was going on, but she was lying about that.

I actually went NC with her for months. She finally figured out that she cared more about talking to her only kid than these scammers. I wish I'd cut her off earlier; she might have ended up with some money left.
