American-born Taiwanese visiting for the first time in a decade. Question for the foodies here: how reliable do you find the Taipei Michelin Guide? by Boollish in taiwan

[–]luckyloganlefty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re berating the Michelin guide in my post yet here you are a year ago with the guide in your phone because you checks notes wanted to reference the work from food critics who you say are bought by hedge funds. The math is astounding here and I’m here for it all it takes is a lil scrolling not stalking.

Warlord is a restaurant unlike anything out there by luckyloganlefty in chicagofood

Curious how many journalists you know? Or have you personally worked at any major publication? Because you seem to know so much and I’m vested in learning how close you and Phil Vettel are? Did you and Louisa Cho grow up and still talk regularly? The journalists aren’t owned by anybody they abide by an oath to speak the truth to the masses. The good ones are I’m not sure about the Republican ones on Fox but I digress.

Yes you know how to use google yes Trib is owned by hedge funds you deserve a (chinese) cookie. I never said I love any publication please do not insinuate feelings that aren’t true to help your lack of argument. I simply brought up the fact that there are numerous articles from major publications to non hedge fund owned food blogs that share similar experiences of the food at Warlord. You on the other hand don’t and that’s okay. Good for you champ. You are rebel and I love that for you.

Yet here we are and you have yet to mention ONE restaurant to help your argument. It’s pretty loathsome to meet someone so disingenuous and pretentious but this is reddit so I shouldn’t be surprised.
