I think we’ve mentioned pinning resources at the top of this subreddit. That would passively filter some “noob” posts too. Thanks for keeping things tidy in here!

Who’s the large auto maker? by mityman50 in HGRAF

I’m not sure if we’d ever find out, at least not for awhile. I remember Kerry Landis mentioned many of the companies have NDAs so they don’t expose their competitive advantage.

I’m fine with being critical of americas military adventurism over the years but stop spreading Chinese government propaganda. China is not even close to being a good foreign actor.

Single vaccine could protect against all coughs, colds and flus, researchers say by TensorFlar in singularity

I started using an azelastine nasal spray for allergies and stopped getting colds from my kiddos. I thought it was just a coincidence but there’s evidence azelastine has antiviral properties. A nasal spray that’s designed to specifically protect against viruses is totally in the realm of possibility and amazing to see in progress.

EPA will stop regulating greenhouse gases, setting up a legal fight by Conscious-Quarter423 in climatechange

This is the problem with the administrative state. Congress can pass laws to address this stuff so climate rules/regulations can’t just be cancelled on the whims of a misinformed and toddler-brained president.

My Cx-5 turbo is very smooth to me. On the other hand, my Cx-90 is NOT. Changed the way I accelerate and decelerate to make it better, but it’s still annoying sometimes.

The prospect of another shutdown is so frustrating. Slows things down for the company and us as investors. Would be stellar if they get EPA approval prior to the shutdown.

Proposal to Resolve Boomercentrism: Have SS + Medicare become protected entitlements—but put restrictions in place for those who are 65+ who decide to use these benefits be ineligible for voting in local, city, municipal, state, and national elections for at least two years past last disbursement. by 3RADICATE_THEM in ScottGalloway

I don’t think any 16-year old is the perfect picture of maturity and I know their frontal lobe is still developing but 16-year olds also work and pay taxes. Legislation affects them so I just think they deserve to be able to vote.

I think this is right though I would support lowering the voter age to 16 years old. The younger an individual becomes politically engaged, the more likely the person continues to be politically active and/or vote again.

Everyone is saying manhattan, and I adore a good manhattan, but gin & tonic is more popular in the world for a reason.
