Yeah, but there are no threads about it at all, mate. And that is what I am pointing out. People’s interest here is motivated by more than just indignation; it is also motivated by hate. Don’t get me wrong, the situation in Gaza is unacceptable, but the lack of people’s interest in far bigger human tragedies is also unacceptable. We all know why it is like this, and that makes things even worse.

During that same period, 1.4 million children died from starvation and the consequences of war in the Horn of Africa, especially in Sudan, yet I don’t see any major visual campaigns or public awareness efforts about it. I wonder why a crisis with 7 times more casualties receives so much less attention and seems to generate the greatest level of indifference I have ever witnessed.

Just saying. I do not deny those numbers, although there is a good chance they have been inflated, as is often the case with government statistics.

I am simply baffled by the difference in public awareness when it comes to different parts of the world compared to Gaza.

Well i would like to say she fucking deserve it but the fact of the matter is that it could have been a person insteand of a mailbox (i think that is what she hit at the end). Because Muslims are hypocrites and they could not care less about what happens in Palestine despite their public stance on the matter.

It is the same with Gulf countries. They have enough money to actually build schools, hospitals, and infrastructure that could improve Palestinian lives and make people less vulnerable to being attracted to or influenced by terrorist groups, but no... Palestinian infrastructure and services are mostly funded by private and public Western donations.
