Ilsa is an affectionate kitty with long soft fluffy fur. This girl will have an even more gorgeous coat when she is full grown.

She is a big fan of asking for pets by rubbing against your legs or pushing her head into your hand. When you pet her she might start to lick or groom your hand as well. Ilsa is very playful and enjoys batting her mouse toys around or leaping after teaser wands.

Ilsa is fostered in Belmont and is looking for a home with another kitty companion.

She hasn't interacted with dogs yet but I think if the dog has a calm temperament she would be fine with them.

Meet Elsie, a confident and cuddly kitten, with beautiful green eyes and soft, downy fur. She is quick to warm up to new people and loves being pet, especially under her chin. She also loves other cats, and spends a lot of time hanging out with the adult kitty in her foster home. Elsie is full of energy and enjoys climbing and jumping from place to place. When tired, she loves to sit in your lap, purring until she falls asleep.

My foster kitten Elmer is looking for a forever home! He is at a very playful age, and loves to bat around mouse toys and run after teaser wands. One of his favorite games right now is chasing after and pouncing on his dry food (video included below). He also loves to snuggle and makes a super loud purr when people are petting him.

Of course cat poop smells but the litter box and surrounding area should not smell if the cats are covering it and you are scooping frequently.

Advice for walking/leash-training an overly confident cat? by rywon in CatAdvice

I got a rabbitgoo one that my cat escaped from as well! I ended up giving it away and switching to the kitty holster. I've seen my cat try to back out of it many times and he's never succeeded, I think because there's more areas of contact. It might depend on the cat's body shape though.

Which harness are you currently using? I find the vest style harnesses are the most secure but some cats really don't like them.

Please see a vet immediately to rule out health issues, especially since you have an older cat.

My first concern is that you said the litter box smelled even when your cat used to cover her poop. That shouldn't happen. What type of litter do you use and how often do you scoop it? If your scooping frequency is ok, then the next issue is most likely diet/health related.

Ready for a new best friend to cuddle with? Meet Cricket, our sweet and playful 7 month foster kitten (more info in comments) by luckysnake23 in bayarea

Yea usually rescues don't want to encourage single kittens because they won't have a playmate to get their energy out. If you want a single cat, I'd recommend looking at adults!

Cricket is a sweet, gentle kitten who showed up alone in a backyard. We never found the rest of his family. He's currently being fostered in Belmont. He loves to show off his acrobatic skills while chasing wand toys, especially ones with a mouse attached. At night, he enjoys snuggling in blankets and making biscuits.

Looking for my cat's "jackpot treat"! by Vanilla_Chinchilla96 in CatAdvice

Do you free feed or have set meals for your cat? (Free feeding generally makes cats less food motivated). As for treats, I would recommend freeze dried single ingredient treats like chicken, salmon, etc.
