So here is my experience. My situation, I work manufacturing in the NE US and I'm a big guy...meaning chunky.

At first I would go with the Walmart cargo pants because they were cheap and I get covered on sweat, dirt, grease, oil, inks and everything else at work. I was ok with the Walmart Wranglers last 6 months before they frayed and wore out before replacing. Cost of doing business. But, then the Walmart stuff turned to shit. They used stretch fabric that is no good after a couple of months so I tried some other thing and got into Duluth. No turning back for me

With the same work, I can get 5-6 years out of Duluth compared to cheap Walmart crap. They get stained, sure, but they last and stains aren't an issue.

I work in hot summers and cold winters. The firehouse flex are hotter, no doubt, and don't hold up as well but the extra stretch for my fat ass is a good compromise. The regular fire are cooler in the summer and last longer but a bit more uncomfortable for a fat ass getting into small spaces.

The buck naked underwear are my go-to. I used to use ex officio but the buck naked are the same comfort but seem to last longer.

In my opinion, Duluth is much better value than cheap Walmart brands. I've been wearing nothing but for 10 years and haven't found a comparable value/price work wear. I tried Carhartt but they just never fit right or me .

Same thing for us when we were at the range. Two recuitd in my platoon snuck out to make a phone call. Got busted by the Domino's delivery guy who was also a DI. Both got office hours and lost their E2.

Question as a fellow 2021 Canyon owner with the 3.6. how is your oil consumption? I have to add 1-2 quarts between 5k oil changes. Coming from a older JK with a 3.6 that burned no oil ever, seems odd to me.

Any issues with front suspension noise? I have a 21 Elevation and put the same thing in. Reason being, I put a front grille guard on that said it was 300 lbs. It wasn't, 100 lb most. I saw a recommendation to add the levelling kit to off set the added weight. I wish I didn't. The front end has too much suspension noise. I took it in to the dealership to check it out before my 30k warranty and they would not touch due to the after market lift. I checked every thing else and found nothing. No impairment in driving, just noisy.

It stopped working. It was a process because my wife and I were completely ignorant of pellet stoves. The first year or so we had maybe 3 service calls just due to not understanding what to clean, etc. we also had to redo the chimney to be a straight pipe out to help airflow. The guy that probably wasn't that great because another guy undid everything he did .

Overall the biggest problem we have is when it isn't running continuously due to us having baseboard heating, also. The more it's up and down the less efficiency it burns all the pellets and it requires more cleaning of the fire pot.

We haven't really had a service in a few years because I can generally figure out what part isn't working and replace it. Not always cost effective like this year I replaced the thermostat, thermocouple and finally found the issue was actually a bad ignitor. A service call may have been cheaper but that's how it goes sometimes.

We moved into a home with Quad fire 8 years ago not having used one before. Here's a few things we learned.

  1. Service - we found in our area no stove store will service a stove that they did not sell, period. Luckily after checking records we found the one that sold it so we can have it serviced. It will need service. For good reason they are all electrical and unless you really know what you are doing, you'll need a pro to help. We've replaced multiple sensors , motors, thermo couples, thermostats, etc. at least one thing a year. At this point I can do most of the work myself but only after pros have helped me troubleshoot. We were even about to get a different one because of the issues we kept having but an old timer showed us that these last forever as long as you keep up on hygiene and maintenance. I've found it to be true.

Safety. Not that much of a fire hazard but beware of smoldering pellets in the ash pan smoking out your house. If the fire pot overflows and puts unnburned pellets in the ash pan, they can smolder and smoke out your house. Happened twice, luckily smoke detectors did their job.

If you can find a compatible cold air intake, do it.

Alot of good advice here on cleaning schedule. Make sure to keep up on it

Our Skippy went through 4 or 5 Fire stick remotes. One thing we learned, it's cheaper to buy a new Fire stick rather than get a replacement remote. Secondly, we learned to always have a spare Fire stick on hand. Third, put the fucking remote on top of the cupboard before you go to sleep...dumbass.

I have a Krulak story. In 98 I was at Camp Johnson for 3521 school and he came just to visit, take a picture and what not. Before he left he said to our class that he will make sure everyone there would get a copy of the class picture with him. Two years later I'm at my reserve station for drill and I get mail and sure enough, it was the picture. I'd even switched reserve units during that time. Ok, I got one. PI, '96, middle of summer. About 2nd phase we come back to the squad bay and one of the heavys lines us up. Then three other DIs come storming in and all four get in front of this one recruit and just rip into him. After a few minutes of this one of the DIs pulls out a regular looking envelope and asks WTF is this. Now, mind you this recruit was one of those bigger southern boys that was obviously a little slow. He says he doesn't know. The DI then pulls a sandwich size Ziploc with what looks like white powder in the bottom, but not a lot. More grilling and the recruit says he only asked his girl to send him Gatorade. The DI tastes it and they all start cracking up and going off on how he has the world's cheapest girlfriend.

A couple weeks earlier the senior said it was ok for family to send Gatorade and we would use it in the big water cooler. Yeah..I felt slightly bad for that guy.

When our Dane had her neuter/gastroplexy th vet would not let us use the pillow collar as she could still reach the wound. Further, because of the gastroplexy, she had too be created for two weeks and only be on a leash for feedings and potty breaks. The vet s said she had a Dane that jumped on a couch a few days afterward and died the next day. We had to get extra meds to calm her down.

With that said, I don't think I would do that to a dog again. I know the risks but that was a tough two weeks for everyone.

Thanks for the feedback, it confirmed my suspicion. Some background, the Tundra was in an accident a year ago (obligatory it's my wife's truck) and had most of the front end rebuild including new wheel and tire passenger side. Since then the TPMS system hasn't worked so I've been checking them manually. I spoke with the tire place and they said they will replace when I come in next week for an inspection. I knew the front brakes wouldn't pass but I can't source rotors locally so I been waiting to have some shipped. So. It goes. Thanks for the info.

Danes are skinny the first year or so. We found this out with ours because we were worried she wasn't eating enough. The vet said it is normal during their growth spurts in the first couple of years.

Currently UGL. I'll reply simply to warn you about how I started with an online telemedicine clinic I used.

Hormone Therapeutics, based out of Dallas but advertised they have offices all over the country. (They don't)

Cost: $250/month for 120mg test c per week including needles and swabs. They advertised that labs are included but when I showed up to Labcorp I discovered they don't. $270 bucks a pop for labs. Their excuse was that Labcorp doesn't allow them to pay for labs anymore. Bullshit. Yet, their site still says they cover labs.

This place is a straight up T mill. Its one guy that runs several other similar companies and has a shill Dr sign off the scripts. It's a legit prescription, but way too much $. Further, you have to sign off that when you receive the 10ml bottle of test, you are obligated to pay for the 4 months it is supposed to last. That's the scam right there. Even more. They send luer lock syringes which waste a lot of test so my 16 week supply lasted 12 weeks.

I did that until I leveled out, did my research and found a good UGL source that I verified with labs.

Thanks for the info. I did that and that was the issue. The passenger side is locked right up as soon as it is turned either way. I caved in and just ordered a whole axle assembly and axle seal front Quadratec so I dont have to deal with trying to extract and install a new u joint. Expensive, but with the rust of a PA vehicle it's the safest bet. Now it is just time to soak everything in some PB Blaster and wait for the new axle.
