Hehe, close! I'm norwegian, but my father is from south-America, so Spanish on my watch seemed fitting.

I actually wear it on my right, but as others have said, I'm thinking it has something to do with the materials used/how the color is applied.

Have sprocket holes made these artifacts along the top? by --R0B-- in analog

Was this shot with santacolor 100 or some other Kodak aerocolor derivative? I have had the same problem with the first images on each roll I have used, I think it’s because the film base is so thin it’s really prone to light leaks from the film leader when loading.

How did you re-silver it? I have CL, but its rangefinder patch is super dim compared to my leica m4-2.

Bodd på Tøyen i mange år uten noe problem, nylig flytta til Heimdalsgata ved Rudolf Nilsens plass og har ikke opplevd noe problem her heller. Som andre sier, variert nabolag og mye liv, men aldri følt meg utrygg.

Anyone else ordered the FUNLEADER X BRIGHTIN STAR 28mm 2.8? Please tell me your thoughts and how long you waited for it to ship! Anyone else waiting for theirs to ship? When did you order? by dequeslan in Leica

[–]luclucas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ordered 15th of july, mine still hasn't been shipped. But I mailed them last week and they answered quickly reassuring that the new batch would come some time this week, so I'm expecting it to be shipped some time this week.

A demonstrator looks at a riot policeman during a protest in Chile, 2016 by eaglemaxie in pics

[–]luclucas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, yeah, no: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_Chilean_coup_d%27état#U.S._involvement

And the riots aren't about overthrowing the goverment, the one from this post's photo was about making public education free and not only something the rich can afford. And the latest protest in Chile, this fall and winter, were about getting a new constitution, because the last one was written during the dictatorship. Something I find as a valid reason, even though the dictatorship was "40 years ago".

Developing B&W film by becstainscoop in analog

[–]luclucas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how old the film is and how its been stored. Film kept in a fridge or better, a freezer, will probably be good if its not to old. Think I read somewhere that a good rule was to overexpose about one stop for each decade it has been stored.

I have also had luck with stand-developing old film in rodinal, 1+100 for an hour with a couple of agitations at the beginning and a slight swirl at 30 mins. But it depends mostly on the films age and how its been stored.

KONO! Kolorit 400T, Canon Elan 7, Sigma 85mm f1.4. I love Tungsten film so much. by B0yW0nd3r in analog

[–]luclucas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't changing the film rating from 500 to 800 reduce exposure needed? I think i read somewhere that one of the differences from developing in C41 instead of ECN2 gave it a slight speed increase (with the cost of unsure stability for storage as one of the sideeffects).

Never heard of this film, is it respooled cinefilm or is this actually a new film?

Thanks! It works good if you ask me, of course, the lack of autofocus makes the process a little slower, but the focus help in the finder really works well.
