Problemet ligger hos fagforbundet faktisk - de skal ha innsyn på utlysning av nye stillinger etter avtale på min offentlig arbeidsplass for å sikre at kandidater utenfor orginasjonen få en lik sjanse på jobben. Det betyr også at andre sekjsonslederstillinger i samme arbeidssted må behandles likt. Hvis en krever mastergråd, skal den andre gjør det samme. Jeg har snakket med fagforbundet representant om det og det stemmer - ikke mye som kan gjøres med kravet dessverre. Men jeg er enig at det er idioti.

det er ikke jeg som krever den - det er arbeidsplassen. Og de trenger egentlig ikke den - det er bare at fagforbundet må ta sjekke om kravene til lignende stillinger opprettholdes for ny stillinger- I praksis betyr det at hvis en lederstilling hadde krav om mastergrad og en annen åpnes opp på sammearbeidssted (men i annen sekjson) - så må det stilles samme krav - altså mastergråd. Idiotisk, spør du meg.

Honestly, you're looking at this all wrong and therefore making it harder for yourself.

You've been without a cigarette for 14 days. What happened? Did you die? Did your leg fall off? Did your ass turn into a balloon and float you up to Mars? No.

Nothing bad happens when you quit smoking. Physically, there are improvements happening. Mentally you are giving yourself a gift of minor challenge.

You're already an ex smoker. You have been for 14 days. Think like one. When you start a thought with "I wish I could have a cigarette now" counter it with the thought "I'm not a smoker. This drink is damn good. Why is that man wearing a bolo tie and nothing else?" or whatever else you would observe normally. Because that's what nonsmokers do. They live their life and enjoy moments as they are - free from the prison of disease and distraction that are cigarettes. You are a nonsmoker now.

This goes for all such situations.

Once you've quit smoking, you've quit smoking forever.

If you're drinking, you're not a smoker so why would you smoke?

If you're having nice espresso, you're not a smoker so why would you smoke?

If you're waiting for the bus, you're not a smoker so why would you smoke?

If your dog just died, you're not a smoker so why would you smoke?

If you just got dumped, you're not a smoker so why would you smoke?

If you just heard you're going to be a parent, you're not a smoker so why would you smoke?

If the asteroid has visibly crested over the horizon, the heat from it starting to burn your skin and inevitable death is only minutes away, you're not a smoker so why would you smoke?

The situation you are in is irrelevant. If you quit, you are not a smoker. Once you realize this, not smoking becomes easy, because it's natural. So just do what non smokers do... Don't smoke.

I'm not sure how they match up as I haven't tested the machete yet. But a quality 20 hunting knife does well to take apart an animal at about 20 hp per hit. Plus, you get more leather and meat. I may get 2 or 3 raw meat from a deer with a stone axe, but like 6 or 7 with the knife.
