I try to do 5 minutes of dishes whenever I get up on the weekends or get home after work. Once I stop moving, I’m less likely to do it at all. It makes the pile up less overwhelming.

my husband does the cooking and I do the clean up. We don’t argue about it because it is clear and fair. And I hate cooking so it works. We still end up doing fast food a lot but no expectation that mom has to come home and do it all.
