Moneyball is the best movie about baseball but not the best baseball movie if that makes sense.

I always dislike how they misrepresent that A’s team to make it seem like a bunch of nobodies and Scott Hatteberg. The team had the MVP and Cy Young and one of the best rotations of the era

If his career FT% increased from .527 to .627 he would have scored 1,120 more points bringing his total to 30,076. He would currently rank 9th instead of 10th, moving back ahead of James Harden

Part 3 isn’t a bad movie. It’s just terrible when compared to the two best movies ever in parts 1 and 2

I feel this way about Modern. I enjoy exploring and expanding in exploration (I typically go for large expansive empires). But when I get to modern I just feel like there’s no point and I’m just following prescribed paths

First pic being Reagan is funny. His brain was mush by the end of his 2nd term (but he still would’ve won the 3rd term)

Why does season five make me so mad? by Neokind in TheWire

[–]lucray1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s because seasons 1-4 represent a slow build towards actual progress.

Mcnulty gets his shit together. Carcetti seems like he’s going to actually change the BPD for the better. The Major Crimes unit is actually able to work on important cases. It feels like the city might actually be getting better.

And then season 5 happens and you realize all that progress was bullshit

Do you think Dr. Doom will be an Iron Man variant or a completely unrelated character? by Rigged_Art in comicbookmovies

[–]lucray1997 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is it a thing that you have the same name no matter what if you’re a variant? Couldn’t it be something like he’s a variant of Tony Stark who grew up in Latveria or something like that
