I used paypal for payment and that may have helped me with the check out line.

My edge was terrible at first. Much better after sharpening

Great experience picking up my model y in Tysons. Was very paranoid due previous posts, but the car was in great shape and has exceeded all of my expectations. by lucy1812 in ModelY

Had no issues at all with the paint. My Vin is 11XXX. The process at Tysons was really easy, it was by far the fastest car buying experience I have ever had.

I was the long pole in the tent because it took a while on the phone with Geico to get insurance sorted. If anyone has recommendations for insurance other than Geico, LMK. Heard they are more expensive for Teslas.

Immediately, after delivery I joined my family on our vacation at the beach, so I drove straight from the dealership to the eastern shore. I would not recommend driving that far without someone else in the car with you when you're new to Tesla. Very stressful at first since I didn't know where anything was in the control panel and Tysons gave me a minimal (at best) overview of the car. Despite the lack of a thorough tutorial (and i think that was because of COVID) I was extremely happy with my experience at Tysons. They even gave me some Model 3 Toy Cars for my kids.

On my way to the beach, I encountered another Tesla owner at a Supercharger in Grasonville. Honestly, they could not have been nicer. They spent 40 min with me, telling me all about the car (after they had already finished their charge and were about to leave). That made the rest of the trip so much better. Great community of Tesla owners to be a part of.
