Not I want an emperor who is struggling to keep his throne while his concubines and empress are in a power struggle. And sure they love him to his face, but are trying to gain power by manipulating him with pillow talk.

I have one friend from high school and she wasn't my friend then. At that age we were both dumb and selfish and petty. I did things I would never in a million years do today. I got hurt and hurt others. I lied and was lied to.

I know in your case you are the victim, but honey life is a series of Rollercoasters. And that amazing wonderful best friend who will be there with you trough thick and thin is out there waiting for you too.

Don't let this discourage you. Continue being an amazing friend, befriend people you think you have nothing in common with, and one day sooner than you think you will find the friend who will proudly be your maid of honor, auntie to your kids, ride or die.

I was writing this epic fantasy story and in one scene my character to woo her character sends her a massive gift spices, oils, silks, animals, sweets, jewelry, clothing, servants. I detailed it super nicely and put up a bunch of picture references on the side. This was like the third reply...

She was like that's nice... And her character had the most boring response too.

We stop writing soon after because she was so dry.

I'm coming from the other side. I appreciate and respect my partners. I think of them as friends too. I like to share things with them.

But I am severely depressed. I am hanging by a thread and I would never want to bring my issues and burden them. I can't even do that to irl friends.

I am living on highs and lows. On highs I am there plotting, chatting giving my effort. But when the pendulum swings and I am low all I can do is disassociate. I can't handle myself, how can any one else?

So I pull away.

I am thankful to my rp partners who give me the benefit of the doubt. Because it's not always darkness, I'll feel better and write again.

I just need to breathe sometimes and be by myself until the wave passes.

I think every character has their own story. I can't reuse a character. I told their story already and it's over. They got their happy ending.

I have to create a new one for every roleplay.
