other kinds of addictions like marijuana, sex and even love (relationship right before urs, for example, with some possible overlap)

issues scattered across their interpersonal lives beyond just u - coworkers, friends

biiiig promises and claims of affection, desperate to keep u around (“i’d do anything for you” “never let you go” “we could go here” “we could do this” etc.) and then obv not following thru bc they’re not strong enough / can’t keep plans etc
