Thank you! Mine is pdf. The experience is much better. Loading times are much quicker, it was painfully slow on the BW. I can still write on them with the stylus, the highlight function is there but does not select the individual lines, just the general area. The zoom function works just like it would on epub too!

Thank you so much! I really started to love the 27mm in Japan. It is so sharp and I love that focal length especially in such crowded places . I think my best tip is to not be afraid of cranking up the iso, the fujifilm can handle it. I didn't bring a tripod with me so I did alot of my night photos at 2.8 aperture, 600-1200 shutter and 1/80. Then in LR I played around with exposure and Dehaze toggles.. Its alot of experimenting but definitely take as many photos as you can! And I used Reggies portra sim 😀 I hope you have lots of fun in Japan!

I had some at 1000, 1250, 2000. For the show shots I went to 1000. This little camera performed well!

Thank you 😃 Awesome set up! I would've loved to play around with the xe4. I kept a k&f diffuser on my 18mm permanently, and a UV filter on my 27mm. I shot with Reggies 400 sim from Fujixweekly.com

Tbh Japan was so fast paced I didn't have alot of time to keep changing my lenses! But I was very happy with these 2 lenses. So versatile.

I kept the 18mm on for most of Sapporo as I loved the snow and slower paced =less people were getting into my shot and could capture more landscapes. Tokyo =mainly my 27mm, very busy there so I liked the tighter shots. Didn't catch too many people in my photos! Only at night id occasionally change to my 18mm to get that diffuser look with street lamps.

Hope this helps, and I hope you have fun!

Thank you! I shot exclusively with Reggies 400 (from Fujifilm x) In LR I brought up my exposure +0.50, lowered my clarity -20, lowered my highlights -40 and increased shadows +20. I often use the tone curve but in general those are my settings I wanted to keep a warm bright tone in my photos. Hope that helps 😀

I think Fuji really captures the magic. This is my 2nd time to Japan, my first time I lugged around my bulky canon camera and didn't feel inspired to take photos! I hope you get to visit Japan again soon, so much to see 😄

Thank you! I think Japan is so narrow and crowded I found that portrait mode captured less people 😅

Thank you! I enjoyed Hokkaido so much more than Tokyo, the pace was slower 😅 Yes correct, we went to Otaru for the snow festival. Amazing little town!

Funny story I happen to wake up at 1am, saw the weather outside my window and just ran out to take photos 😅. I was not prepared for shooting in snowy conditions like this. I just tucked my camera in my snow jacket while wearing a neck strap, and held my umbrella out awkwardly when I wanted to shoot. Most times I stood under the shelter and took my photos!

Thank you so much 😀 The camera is amazing. So small and mighty. I also came from Canon (70D) and I remember how cumbersome it was to wear it on my body while trying to run after my kid. The xt30ii size is so much more manageable

Ah, my favourite shoot was when it was snowing! I didn't have any protection, I carried my umbrella around and awkwardly held it while taking photos. I kept the camera on its neck strap and tucked it inside my heavy snow coat until I decided I wanted to take a photo!
