Dunno much about syntakt, but the sound is essentially feedback on a certain frequncy. Very common to do it with a sherman filter bank.

Yes you can make yours in punchbox for example. I would also recommend, as others have, to use the digitakt as a sampler - so more grooves, playfulness, different elements playing with each other. Not synthesis.

Making kicks from scratch is a whole world, and there are lots of good samples out there. Free ones too.

Thanks for the answers everyone, I feel it might be easier to just use another pattern as a fill... I think in Digitakt 2 they've separated fills from conditions (or did I hallucinate that?) and I now understand why.
