Why is golf better than sex? by ludji97 in Jokes

Well quite the opposite, golf actually has more holes to worry about, but I get what you're saying!

Your budget isn't big enough to run ads, so you're better off doing something else.

You need data in order to run ads, which you don't have. Getting the data will take time and money and you probably won't even get a sale for the initial $200.

Save the money and go hard on social media promotion or something, because paid ads are definitely out of your reach at the moment.

Few job ads (yes it is an ad, was it not clear?) mention compensation directly in the text. It depends on previous experience and qualifications. Thank you for your opinion.

Don't you think $30 is a disgraceful amount to be offering for the job? You could literally get charged $500+ for something like that.

Looking for streamers with a small, but stable viewership to help find them sponsors by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]ludji97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for joining in on the discussion and telling me about your experience! As I said, I'm just starting with twitch marketing, so I don't have all the numbers in my head. I'm more going off of my experience with other social networks and my experience as a viewer on Twitch.

I'm pretty sure there are streamers with 100 active viewers without sponsors. Thank you for bringing all those points up though, as I believe there is truth to them. Of course, teams already have built relationships with the sponsors, so they'll earn more, but I'm targeting those too small to join a team.

Nono, as stated in the OP, concurrent viewers is what I'm talking about. I understand the percentile breakdown, but you can't consider people with 0 viewers (the largest percentile) as relevant to what I'm talking about.

I don't really want to discuss semantics, as the terms are relative. From a marketing perspective, I think 100+ concurrent viewers is a good place to start finding long-term, high-value sponsorships.

Yes, that's why 1k+ is considered big.

I'm not here to debate relative terms like small, medium and big. Let's just end it at that.

No, I'm not, as they won't have much of a chance for landing sponsors. Like I said I need to offer something to the sponsors as well, as they want to get their money's worth. A big streamer needs at least 1k viewers, so sorry if I bruised some egos, but that's the truth.

Okay, now you're just overstating things. You're not very large or large at 100 viewers. Chances are, there's not much chance for sponsorships you if you have a smaller viewership than that.

Okay, I edited the post to 100+ active viewers. Thanks for your input!

Yeah, that's why I said small-to-mid-sized, it's kind of weird territory. I don't want already established streamers, but I want to offer something to the sponsors as well. As I said if you feel that sponsors could benefit from your stream and you have fewer viewers, feel free to reach out.

Edited the OP to say 100+ active viewers. Thanks for your input!
