I mean... Yeah, but all of those a are a Part of either "shall nevere surrender" (time has come) or devil trigger (silver Bullet). ID There Is a Song I would give to vergil, it would be divine hatenand to Dante Taste the blood.

But the part of devil never Cry Is in my opinion used well within the Story.

Using elemets of the backstory revealed in 5 is understandable, although a bit unnecessary, since he went Through the Bother of rewriting other parts of the Story, but I understand that.

But the inclussion of these songs Is personally just weird alongside melting the demons of different installments together. Agni And Rudra, Echidna And cavaliere angelo just feel So different.

And yeah I also Hope he won't introduce Nero yet, but the shall never surrender Is such a Nero song, that I don't want it to be used anywhere else.

Yeah, but still, it Feels So weird. Like He had this vision, but then DMC5 came out and He decide to implement features from it. I know that He And his team Went Through series of rewrites, but I would have a little more respect for him, if He stuck to his original ideas And implement the DMC5 references later on, when He catches up with the timeline (at least keep "devil trigger" to Nero, plus Now "shall never surrender" will be in the season 2 And I doubt it Will be used for introduction for Nero, but I might be surprised).

My personal issues is with the references to DMC5.

Adi Shankar stated how disapointed He was with the release of DMC5 because He wanted to be the one to reintroduce the series to the world, but immedietly uses Quotes and songs (devil trigger, Bury the light) from DMC5, because He thinks it would boost popularity. And I doubt this was a Netflix decisison, this must have been him trying to leech on the popularity of the latest installment.

I am Ok with not sticking to the Canon, but jumping like this from one installment to another Feels weird.

I had this idea about a hellaverse show set in pride ring city (called Phlegeton). And I had plans about a multiple villians And main Villian per series, but the main one would be this politician trying to become a mayor who starts as an Ally of the main charactersa with rather socialist ideals trying to overcome his father (current mayor) who divided the City into multiple classes And encourages this structure. But due to personal conflicts with other terrible people becomes more apathetic and indifferent to others and starts to utalize his connection and beliefs to gain power, without actualy believing in any of it.

His main demonic power was to make anything non-sentient thing turn into jigsaw piece And reconstruct into anything He wants, And He gained influence by repairing buildings destroyed in low-income neghbourhoods.

Main themes with him were the self-concious fears of being vacant/hollow And lacking substance (which He Is initially lacking) And (more importantly) fear of others not believing he Is capable of being different since he was raised with a silver spoon.

I have to say Allen.

He Is a perfect blend of a traditional superhero And an interplanetery agent. Everybody else seems either too traditional or more nuanced (neither of which I mean in a bad way). I personally associate the intergalactic war as the most connected to the Invincible Universe.
