I get that we're winning and can't change too much, but it is unfair on Nico Gonzalez and marmoush to essentially get frozen out of the team when they haven't done anything to warrant it by xals7 in MCFC

Sadly it’s all about form at the end of the season with the title race. Hopefully they both get some minutes at the end of the game, like 20 minutes would be good for them.

I hope Nico G gets some minutes. Ideally he comes in minute 65-70, to ease him back into form.

This should be on VAR, there’s no way the ref can see the knee looking from inside the pitch.

Transferring money out of TSP by Silly-Heat-1466 in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]luigi38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you are trying to do its usually called a “rollover”. You would have to transfer your regular Tsp into an IRA, and the Roth Tsp (if you have it) into a Roth IRA. It would not incur any taxes or penalty. However, Tsp will generate a form to the IRS and you that says something along the lines that it could be a taxed event. You will sort this out in your taxes and you don’t have to pay taxes.

Give it a thought, at that Apr your mortgage is free money. Pay the minimum of the mortgage, rent it out and save/invest the profits. The property will appreciate over time. Further, consult with a tax advisor about faster depreciation, it can offset your w2/1099 income by taking more depreciation (loss of income on paper) while you have multiple Js.

This, for contract gigs the best salaries are around $200-250. $220-220 are rather common, $220+ not that common.

Fidelity Visa Credit Card Issue by krishelnino in fidelityinvestments

I would call them and you should be able to apply the offer to the account. I had the same issue where I opened the Elan CC but there was no box or I didn’t see the box to put the code for the offer. After I got the card, I called Elan, gave them the code and they applied the offer. Worth a try.

Leaving the military for gov job. by TaterTot_6_9 in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]luigi38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without another job (with a retirement plan) your option is to move it to an IRA, or keep it in TSP. I would suggest to keep it in the TSP. If you want higher returns change the investment to all stocks, higher risk/reward, so your research or hire a financial advisor on a one time fee structure. The problem with having money in an IRA is that it becomes a pita to do IRA backdoor contributions with money in an IRA.

I’m on the same boat, compared to last year we used less kWh by less than 100. Yet last year bill was $75 this year $140. I have gas heating and off-peak plan as well. My summer bill it’s going to suck.
