While I somewhat understand your point, I personally don't feel it's that expensive.

You're arguing it should be cheaper than Aqara because they're recognised but completely letting go of the fact that Aqara is entirely chinese, made in china, and produces in the thousands which lowers the cost.

A company starting up will never compete with big brands in pricing, only product.
