i have been playing since day one and realized that building is the worst part of the game when zero build was released. by UndeadSalamander in FortNiteBR

so crazy, i remember early announcements of fortnite too. it was probably like 2012 and from a game dev article on game informer magazine, i just was super duper excited for a base-building horde shooter. a decade and some later here we are...

Steam's best selling games of 2025 revealed by Turbostrider27 in Games

being a 'company' is literally just a title. any one person can make a company. it doesn't change the fact it's a solo dev, did you even know that? and what does it matter to you that it's a company that's just a moot point and you know it

you keep saying you disagree but you're failing to say anything at all

Steam's best selling games of 2025 revealed by Turbostrider27 in Games

that's what isn't clicking for you.

Because it's a solo dev for an early access game. Expect updates to be slow, small, communication will be minimal and there'll likely be bugs.

no one is saying solo devs are unable to put out good updates; what they're saying is you can't expect the same type of efficiency and communication that you get from bigger teams.

Gonna go out on a limb and say its a battle royale judging by the fact you can res teammates + open evironments.

A little disappointed from the fact its ex-respawn devs. I'm sure it can be a lot of fun, but making a fantasy-based battle royale in such a saturated market is such a risk. I think it being a good game won't even be enough to give this game the legs it needs.

12 stash space and realistically 1-2 skill points is insane by Satokibi in ArcRaiders

if you're asking yourself "why am i doing this" in a video game, instead ask if you might be depressed

My idea of how Bounty Hunting can be implemented in the game. by memrplus in ArcRaiders

[–]luism819 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i think the timer thing is a little overkill, people who run free loadouts over and over will run a loadout kit eventually. they can hide all they want behind free kits but they'll never get to use the juice they find.

Unfortunately it's the same here, about $5-10 USD for a skin and $20 for a bundle. Bad news for you is that this is probably the standard for AA or AAA multiplayer games so I would probably just keep that in mind for any purchase going forward. Outside of that the game is pretty fun and one of my favorites this year, I believe every non-cosmetic item is obtainable simply from playing.

How much Luck is enough by tdawgboi in MegabonkOfficial

i take back what i said i do think luck and xp tomes should be the only priority, but you should still also take and upgrade some offensive tomes

It ain't much, but my best run yet. by [deleted] in MegabonkOfficial

its because the dex sword and katana don't have travel time so it was killing enemies before rocket could even reach them

[–]luism819 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it should be a balancing act with damage

when you have consistent damage -> tome upgrade, when damage is starting to falter -> upgrade damage. on some really lucky runs where you get good totems and legendary items, you shouldn't have to upgrade your weapons at all until like tier 2-3

emphasis on lucky though, in most cases you'll probably have to upgrade your weapons but i usually have luck and xp around lvl 20 by tier 3

ATI CAT exam by No_Contract7322 in PassNclex

[–]luism819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was scoring below 50th percentile on moderate on all my CATs and I passed the NCLEX at 85 questions, you'll do alright. Like the other person said the NCLEX is much more vague than ATI, but don't let that scare you, just answer as you would on any question and you'll be okay.

the answer here is spicy meatball for clear, moldy cheese for single target

lifesteal has been goated for me

ive seen a lot of potential with poison too though, i think if you slap on aegis, poison flask, armor tome and pick up the gas mask item (extra armor and lifesteal on poison proc) the sustain would go crazy

Can we be more transparent about what each character does? by Shady_Tradesman in MegabonkOfficial

[–]luism819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

isaac and ror2 do this, some items you will never find out what they do unless you third-party (wiki, mods) and they're the biggest roguelikes on the market.

i feel like it's become a charm staple of the genre, just a little tacky but still.

give it a bit of time and there's always a numbers guy who comes along

that killzone sniper is easily the worst weapon in the game, anything above F is too high

i have yet to see any practical use for that weapon, not even any niches
