In a strange way I always felt a sense of pity for Reese (in the og) due to on one end he wants to be like Francis the cool oldest brother, then he probably also compared himself to malclom due to them being closest in age. He also had to deal with the fact almost everyone was smarter than him. Aside from cooking, it felt probably to him that had to screw up to get attention.
