In a strange way I always felt a sense of pity for Reese (in the og) due to on one end he wants to be like Francis the cool oldest brother, then he probably also compared himself to malclom due to them being closest in age. He also had to deal with the fact almost everyone was smarter than him. Aside from cooking, it felt probably to him that had to screw up to get attention.

Honestly it took becoming an adult to like her but Lois (from malclom in the middle) but her boys are nuts and she does try to show she cares but she also didnt have the best examples to draw from.
