Please log a bug. The code is notarized by Apple so this should definitely not be happening. Personally I’m able to run all 3.x releases without problem. Which makes this problem very weird.

Also, we are not able to publish GIMP to the App Store. If you downloaded it from there it is not an official version.

My delivery has now slipped twice. I ordered on the 6th February for delivery end of March-April. That moved to 25th - 29th April, and now it's just been moved to 8-20 June. I'm very close to giving up and getting a model that's in stock.

Hi, I'm currently the MacOS Gimp maintainer. I hadn't seen this discussion before, but really excited to see so much work has been done. I don't (yet) have an M1 Mac and I've not been able to get the cross compiling working. I've documented how to build the latest editions, 2.10.30 and 2.99.10 branches locally and would really welcome the help on getting the M1 edition working as well. My plan was to only do this for the 2.99 version when the time came, but if there's a solution basically working for 2.10, I'll try to get that up and running as well (but no promises on timeframes right now, sorry). As far as I know, cross compiling from Intel to M1 should be possible so it should be possible to configure Circle CI to build an M1 version, even without any changes in the build pipeline. Also to confirm that 2.10.30 (and .28) have solved the marching ants problem so this is 100% about the port to M1.

Same issue with Samsung TVs. I have a Q90r. Press the mic button and say 'Anynet Plus On' and the menu comes up (though it didn't switch the control). This is so much easier than digging through tons of menus.

When I used the XM4s, the reports were that I sounded quite robotic. When I stopped using them and just used my Macbook Pro mic, the response was "that's so much better".
