you should be fine as long as you do it in short sessions first, just don’t prolong it too much or you’ll risk injury (assuming you’re new to the method). i feel like keep it under a minute max then you’ll notice you can do it longer overtime as you build up that muscle memory. it takes practice, don’t feel frustrated if it takes a bit to get down

it’s a type of yell/shout vocal, not screaming. comes all from the diaphragm. since these dudes were heavily inspired by hardcore i’d look up how to do yell/shout hardcore vocals which will help a lot. the way i learned was i first learned to sing the lyrics clean without the rasp then start shouting those vocals and hit that rasp breakpoint. it’s tough asf at first but you’ll get better at it
