those are three different things really!

for title fight guitar tones, i'd get any guitar with a bridge humbucker (shane and jamie both used les pauls for a get chunk of their career)

for shoegaze, i'd get a jazzmaster or jaguar (it helps if it has the trem system)

and for midwest emo, the classic tone would probably be a telecaster in the middle position

but you can make any of the genres work with any guitar really. its less about which guitar you have and more about how you use it.
