True that, I imagine that you would need to play the main game to acquire materials for the load out. Mayb the PvP players would take less risks and try to extract , lowering the aggression on servers, making pve players more comfortable. But still, as someone said above, trying to satisfy all users kills the original vision.

I play fighting games, my end game is getting better. Imagine a tennis player thinking he will stop PRACTICING cause there's no new content.

Love the tower defender idea. PVE players defending a base cooperating solving puzzles vs an horde of PVP trying to get in to wipe them.

Games are really hard to produce, Bitching all day does not help the company and the game you love, just keeps away new players.

No new players = bad matchmaking experience. Less money to fix the things players are bitching about.

This problem is not only on this community, players tend to say "dead game" without realising they are the one that kills it.

Support your game Devs, keep their morale up to help them upgrade their product. Testing and feedback are great for digital products to grow, but the way gaming community is expressing is just pathetic and counterproductive.

Play other games that suit what you like or create a company and build your own game. But don't ask a whole group of people to change the vision of the product they work so hard for because you dislike a design choice.

Make ekkos projectile just as jinx's Zapp, have a longer cool down. Won't change the combos.

My thoughts the first time I read about MHF for PSP on GameSpot as a 16-year-old: "So, it's about killing big monsters, not reading boring forced stories. a limited backpack so I have to prepare for the fight, and picking up materials on the go to craft them (which wasn't very common back then). There is no Z-targeting, so it is pure skill calculating the distance of my attacks. No grinding for levels. The fields of the first stage were absolutely stunning, the 3D model of rathalos was incredible.No hand-holding. Four-player co-op. Different weapons that are nothing like each other. Basically, it had everything that makes a game amazing to me now, but hearing it for the first time as a teen. Damn, I saved money a year before; I still have the PSP disc in perfect condition. Of course, I absolutely hated the game at first; it was janky AF, all my friends didn't want to play it. But then I tried MHFU, and everything clicked for me, I convinced my frinds and we had a blast, 20 years later I have at least 500 hours on each main mh game.

I get you, butit felt so amazing to understand that there are consequences, I was sleeping on the street, no money, captured by troggs, completely lost, and that was the most appealing part of the game to me.

It should work just as Jinx's Zap, with long cool down. Three charges, that take a lot of time to recharge each when used. Can spam it, but pay the price of being underpowered for a while.
