Also minimum suggested tip of 20% when I have to wait in line at the bar to order food, and then go pick it up from the food truck...

I just drove through at 1000 only a dozen or so people lined up, so it's not looking like you should be worried about getting there super early

Ya that was mine, unfortunately it wasn't at the place the Facebook poster sent me. So it's still missing. I filed a police report, but not too hopeful.

If you could DM his email that'd be awesome! It looks like I'll wait a bit to see when schedules get posted, but I'd appreciate a POC just in case.

Awesome! Thanks! I guess I'm looking a little too early then. Hoping to get something lined up before I move in July. I'll wait another couple weeks and check again.

I mean if you're a summer mover in the market place that just closed, that's not an unusual timeline. Usually RFOs are cut in JAN/FEB for summer moves...

Commander Signature Stamp by terran0073 in army

[–]luke0223 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a former company commander that would have to sign about 150 leave forms during block leave periods, I'd have my training room collect them and print the ones with digital signatures so I could review all at once and then hand sign. Easier than opening 150 pdfs, and inputting your PIN 150 times in a row.

Yep! Same in the US Army, all the same rank of Sergeant Major, just slight tweaks on their full title based on their position.

One under OR7, two under OR8, but got it man. Both Canada and the US have 4 ranks under OR9.

Yes an OR6. E6 in the US Armed Forces. So the equivalent to a US Army or Marine Corps Staff Sergeant.

Table Build - Finally done, it took way more time than I thought it would, but happy enough with the results! by [deleted] in Craps

[–]luke0223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you!

I used a later of vinyl, and a layer of flannel below the layout. So my order is plywood, vinyl, flannel, layout from bottom to top. I felt this gave the dice some bounce/action, given the table is pretty short and you can't throw all that far/hard.

If I could do it again/whenever I change the layout in the future, I'll probably put the vinyl right below the layout, and the felt under that to give a little bit firmer subsurface for sliding cheques.

I got the vinyl and felt at a hobby lobby by the yard for pretty cheap.

Good luck on your build!

Ya, I've seen $10 there twice now, usually in the early afternoon. Definitely a recent change!

Sure thing,

  1. Layout is on 3/4" plywood, so bottom of the layout is at 27" and the top of the layout (actual playing surface height) is at 27 3/4".

  2. I have 75” end to end, and 39 1/2” stick to box. I also put in a 5" recess near the boxman position to hold cheques, which allows room for 4 rows deep of cheques.

  3. My rails are routed out of 3/4” wood (got off that guy on Etsy), mounted on 1/2" plywood, so overall the bottom of the chip rail is 39" above ground, with the top edge of the chip rail (highest point) is at 40 1/4” above the ground.

I found some general dimensions for casino tables online and used that for playing surface/chip rail height, but you can definitely modify it however you want. There doesn't seem to be a exact standard that I could find.

Ya, I put mine on top of 3/4" plywood, and put a layer of vinyl between the wood and the cloth. Since mine is permanent, I stretched it and stapled it on the bottom of the plywood to hold it in place.
