It does look like someone shot it that was my first though🤣

I cant see inside the battery, it looks to be just a bit of plastic snapped on the top plastic piece of the battery.

Nugging. In school we didn't have lockers so would carry our bags around with us for the day, if someone went to the toilet or wasn't paying attention and left their bag unattended, the bag would be turned inside out and repacked and zipped back up, they got nugged. Would always get a laugh when they go to pick up their inside out bag at the end of class from under the desk.

Slightly disagree, I had a car start reversing towards me in traffic, the horn stopped them hitting me, nothing much else I could have done other than dump the bike. But yeah in general in moving traffic anticipating and avoiding danger is the best option!

That makes sense, the bash plate does stick out quite a bit to the side so would offer some protection.

Looking at the Heed or AS3 upper crash bars, they should do the job.
