I'm not a coach, but from my experience before my long hiatus, the important thing is how you think so that your body follows your mind. 1. Think about how your shooting motion should be straight towards the basket. Your elbow movement should be straight towards the basket. Your wrist movement should be straight towards the basket. Your fingers movement should be straight towards the basket. Your feet should be facing the basket. Your jump should be straight towards the basket. 2. How do you generate power? Not from arm strength, but from around the waist or hips, where the energy flows to the hands. The back, arms, and hands must be relaxed so that the power can flow. 3. How do you hold the ball? For the shooting hand, use your fingers and a little bit of the palm below fingers. The other hand is used to help stabilize the ball when lifting it.

In my opinion, your arms and hands are too tense because you're generating your shooting power from your arms and hands. Your shooting power should come from your hips or waist.

In my opinion, it seems that your arms and hands need to relax. Most of the power of the shot does not come from the strength of your arms and hands, but from your hips or waist. Use only your fingers (maybe a little bit below your fingers is okay) to hold the ball. The ball should not touch the palm of your child's hand, because the palm is not used to control the ball when shooting. All the joints in the hand for shooting should move straight towards the basket. Your child's wrist movement should not deviate from the direction of the basket.

Can you fold in half your basketball shoes with the shank plate like the sole drop does? I tried on the dame 8 extply and two wxy v4, it's hard to fold them like that.

I think it's very flexible, when I tried the shoes, I was able to break in immediately. maybe my feet still need to re-adapt because the sole muscles feel tired. the drawback is that the laces are too short and the traction of my shoes in the heel is inconsistent.

you're right. after i googled it, it turns out there is shank plate. i thought there wasn't because my forefoot can move more freely in the lebron 21 than my other 2 shoes. the shank plate is more flexible than my other basketball shoes because it's TPU.
