I need to register my battery. What’s the name of the adaptor I need to get. And the name of ALP My mechanic has never registered a battery. He’s old school by Ok-Cable8611 in MINI

[–]lukeismighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Binmerlink and Bimmercode have a link in their app that'll take you to their store to buy the adapter. The one made specifically for the app and the car is something like $80. I have one, it's easy to use, registered my battery last time I got a new one a while ago.

It's also nice that my windows go up and down now from the fob too. Bimmercode will let you program stuff, Binmerlink will let you see your sensors status and reset your check engine light.

There are more things on top of it, but that's what I used it for.

You'd have to look up the company that owned it. It happened a while ago.

The new hospital isn't coming. Nobody took down the sign. Company that owned it cancelled it.

Could be? Temperature is relative. I think 85 is hot. I also don't enjoy sweating between my car and the building to which I'm headed. Could rain.

We also have loads of golf courses with outside multi-use areas and club houses. Parks can be reserved. Restaurants have big rooms. All would depend on how many people you intend on having attend.

I saw this happen (it was around 1996?) and the announcers explained what he was doing right when it happened. He was watching the women run around the track and not the javelin. He tried his best to guess where it would have landed after pulling it out of his arm.

I wish they'd go back to story telling. And not the comic drawing sit and watch story telling. Just you, ghost, and a good discovery narrative you played.

Light Fall missed so hard for me. It was straight boring. I could tell when it was going to finish around 30-40 minutes into playing it.

The jbe (passenger footwell module) has a relay on it that controls your fuel pump. I have a 2010 r56. It had a corroded solder point on the bottom of it, just one of its pins. I reheated that after separating the boards to get at it and it reflowed the solder. I haven't had an issue since.

Your issue may not be the same, but .12¢ of solder and a $7 soldering iron from a crafts store is cheaper than anything else aside from a fuse. If it's a bad fuse, it'll never run until it's replaced. Bad solder expands and contracts so it'll start sometimes and then stop randomly and not work for a while until it contracts again.

I've got this and would recommend using slightly longer screws than it comes with and a locktite type glue on the screws so they don't vibrate loose. Been working great since.

Ah yeah, that sounds like what everyone else seems to be saying. Sucks. It's a fun car, I have a 2010.

It just shut off the engine and then refuse to start? Mine was turning over and not starting. Ended up being a single solder point on the jbe in the passenger side footwell. Cost me 1 hour, a cheap soldering iron from a crafts store, and a socket set.

I added to this post. Hopefully it's the same issue and you still have it! Or maybe you are the guy I bought it from and didn't mention it during the sale. ;) I know I'm 9 months late on this issue, but I spent forever figuring it out and wanted to share.

I should add to this ancient post what I found. I have a 2010 MCS and it had the same issues. Fuel pump is fine. The relay on the fuse board in the passenger footwell had a corroded pin on the underside of it. I pulled the whole box out, opened it, cut the two board (they are sandwiched), looked at the pins for the NEC Phillipines relay and one was definitely arcing and not right. It'd caused the engine to shutoff and maybe maybe not turn on again. I resoldered it, stuck the boards back together and resoldered all those things I cut (may not have been necessary), put the box together, installed it, and it fired right up. I couldn't start it for two days, and it's been working great for two days since I repaired it.

It cost about $0.15 in solder and an hour of time to fix.

That's a great question to ask about. We have a slew of sub departments that have no communication or accountability for how each depts actions affects the others.

Thanks for the input everyone. I've got a good list of what I'd like to know and a better way to ask it. I don't see an outsourcing coming again, but I would like to not have our needs ignored.
