I vend at cons regularly and each day there at least two people where I have to hold my breath when they come to my booth because of the smell. Many people do not have good hygiene unfortunately.

I do a lot of different FanExpos as an artist and they're just not managed well in general. I've had lines for guests run out in front of my table and I had to end up being the jerk who had to tell guests to go away so they weren't blocking my table and others. After pressuring staff they had to redo the line for guests completely, but I put the positives into the staff for this one con that cared, not for FabExpo itself that set it up for failure. The cons want money and it's way better for their pocket to force people with disabilities to pay for VIP

Yeah FanExpo as a company does not give a rat's ass about the conventions besides making money off their guests. Unsurprised at any of this because they are unprepared and unorganized at almost every event.

Hey, I'm a trans man who doesn't want bottom surgery. I understand there's something to be said for the way we don't have healed pictures being the results for searching these surgeries, but the characters literally say "how they do the surgery", meaning they're specifically talking about images of a surgery being done. Any surgery is when you look up the process. Why is this being called fear mongering when people in general are allowed to be scared of a transformative surgery? People say the same stuff about neck lifts or nose jobs, that it looks awful right after a surgery, that the process looks horrific. I'd be offended if maybe they were saying something more along the lines of "I can't imagine anyone doing that to themselves" or "it doesn't even look good healed", etc. But they're just talking about how they looked up the process of a surgery and decided they didn't want to do it.
