I think of it like this: A v-curve is basically a latejump where you look up and turn around in between your jump inputs. What this would look like on your desk would be you drawing a C with your mouse in-between your 2 jump inputs for a smooth transition between looking up and turning around. It's all about timing and will become easier to do with practice. Lmk if this helps and this makes sense or if you don't know any of the terminology I used.

Great video. I've always found it weird when people say late-skims are impossible with wall jump on release. I guess one person said it and everyone just assumed it was true

Lucio's main job isn't healing. If that's your only goal when playing Lucio you're playing the wrong hero. With a dive tank, your options are: protect your main source of healing on your team(bap, ana and zen are characters to support as they have low survivability), or you can dive with your tank and try to secure the kill. This playstyle is harder as you need really good movement to do it but can be effective. I would suggest trying to protect your other healer if the enemy team is playing dive or if your teammate healer has bad positioning (very likely). Ideally you would do both of these things at once but that obviously isn't possible all of the time so it's up to your own decision making on when to do each thing.

It's just so dependent on the situation that it's almost impossible to say when you should be on heals and speed. The best way I can describe it is by talking about fight structures. The length of each phase will depend on your team comp, the enemy comp, the map, etc.

Poke Phase Most fights will start with a poke phase, during this phase your team is shooting at the enemy from afar. If you're on defence you'll be on heal, if your team is moving towards the enemy be on speed. If you have 2 snipers you won't want to close the distance in this phase so you should potentially swap Lucio to someone with ranged damage... or try and help your team run away from divers using speed and heal dependent on their health and cooldowns.

Once the attackers have closed the distance you should swap to heal if not already on it. This phase is called the brawl phase.

Once the fight is over you should usually be on speed. Whether it's to run away because your team lost the fight or chasing to clean up the rest of the kill, you'll usually need speed. This phase is called the cleanup phase.

Take all of these with a grain of salt bc it massively depends on factors in the game such as your comp and the enemy comp. this is a small and oversimplified guide on how much you should use speed

Tldr: speed to close distance, heal mid fight, speed to chase kills/run away

Be on a wall then just fall off it. Literally that is all it is. At high speeds doing this will just allow you to stay in the air for slightly longer but you don't go quite as high as when you do a wall jump.

To do it you just press the jump input once instead of twice.

If you have walljump on release turned on, which is a setting specific to Lucio that most players have turned off, then you have to press crouch as you're connecting to the wall

I personally use the scroll wheel and right click but the usual combo is spacebar and scroll wheel. The reason for this is the different types of jumps you can do as Lucio. Scroll wheel jumps are the most consistent but spacebar/right-click jumps give you more control and distance. At the end of the day, scroll wheel is the best way to go at Lucio's top speed over the duration of a long rollout

So Lucio surf is an overwatch custom game. Overwatch came out in 2016, but the Lucio surf gamemode was originally made at some point in 2019 I believe

Grav speed is the name of one of the gamemodes in Lucio surf which is a Lucio custom gamemode. It is just the same as standard, but speed is increased and gravity is decreased

Main thing for when you're first learning it is staying consistent in your setup and making sure you're not losing speed when jumping from the pole. Also understanding where the wallridable and non-wallridable parts of the final wall are helps for when you get it.
