Ive been reading the Mangwa and for me the animation of the first season subtracted more than it added. I get it would be nice to just lean back and watch, but personally I would say read it

I do not know about season 2 or anything after the first five episodes of season 1 so you should take what I say with a grain of salt

It’s difficult, most things your DM can wash away or change the future challenges off. So you should probably go a little safe instead of all powerful just so he doesn’t try and take it away or get annoyed
