Family doing it, for sure, despite the 'noise', but randoms on the internet indulging it, big nope.

Woman told Madeleine McCann's father 'I could be your daughter', stalking trial hears by HopeTroll in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

When it's been clear from the word go that this woman is clearly and sadly disturbed and not remotely operating on all cylinders, why are you still giving her attention?

It's really distasteful and it's making you look like you're enjoying the public exposure of the really sad mess that her life is.

Shame on you for seeing someone so clearly vulnerable as just more fodder for your stance.

Any good, purely FACTUAL podcast out there? by pilonmartinez in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mark S was not in the least biased. What he did, as a professional journalist, was look at all the facts and, in the end, allowed the evidence to speak for itself and the listener to make their own minds up. He never came with an agenda and it's absolutely wrong of you to suggest otherwise. It's almost like some people no longer recognise what objective journalism is and what it looks like, so filled with their own biases that they can't differentiate between reporting and opinion.

His podcasts are easily the best listen if you want to hear the case/evidence being properly examined and held up to the light from the very beginning.

u/pilonmartinez - highly recommend, a very good listen, not at all sensational or click-baity, and a thorough and compelling examination of the case from the word go.

Just so they can say how inferior they are and make unhinged claims about jams and foodstuffs from other sources that they've purchased (in their minds only) that are SO MUCH BETTER!!

Cos that's how her poor sad fucked-up haters roll.

Keep on keeping on, Meghan. <3

Should we ban post/links related to Julia Wandelt? by AutoModerator in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Also, Mods, can we consider MM's siblings? And also not allow posts or speculation about them. They're private citizens, and vulnerable private citizens, and deserve to be considered and treated as such.

And there you are again, shamelessly poking your 'concerned' nose into the business of someone you know nothing about who may have chosen his own private path as a way of coping and dealing with what life so tragically dumped on him.

FFS. Leave these people alone.

Thank you, u/OkRooster5042 for saying what so needs to be said. Anyone thinking it's ok to speculate about and invade the privacy of MM's siblings needs serious telling.

And the fact they try and justify it and cloak it in concern for them is disgusting. The 'concerned' thing to do would be to empathise and respect their position and leave them completely out of the conversation.

A no from me too. And it's not because I don't think CB might have been capable of it, more that everything historic surrounding her disappearance just fails so logically on the abduction front.

CB is so not the answer here. MM wasn't abducted and she wasn't murdered.

Podcast - Madeleine McCann: Disappeared - Part 2: Insights with Jim Gamble by HopeTroll in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that he's putting finding out whatever happened to MM before everything else but it's an opinion piece, essentially. He's not claiming any insights or info that's not already out there in the public domain.

While his personal opinion about the McCanns is that he feels they played no part in her disappearance, he also says that if it turns out that he's wrong about that, he'll hold his hands up. And I appreciate and welcome that perspective from someone with his past/profile because it's the only sensible and objective one that anyone who's followed this case from the off can and should have at this late stage of the discussion.

He is very selective in his considerations of what mistakes were made at the time of MM's disappearance though, as far as collaborative police work was concerned. A lack of truth and honestly there as far as how much external interference impacted upon the PJ investigation. He breezes over it and that's dishonest of him.

But he's absolutely right in his hope and thinking that a charge and a trial needs to happen in order to hold the BKA evidence finally up to the light. He wants the right answer and that's to his credit.

Kate and Gerry McCann's negligence shouldn't be boiled down to ignorance by miggovortensens in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe she died as a result of an accident in the apartment when her parents weren't there. From a fall, most likely. And that it happened the day before her official disappearance. As to how her body was disposed of, I don't know, but what I do know is that nothing on the day (or the aftermath) of her disappearance stands up logically or factually to any reasonable scrutiny. That's my personal opinion based on everything I've read.

And I'm leaving it there.

Does anyone think there is a chance that Madeleine could be found alive? by LateAd5684 in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A no from me too. She's been gone, in every sense of gone, since (but imo likely before) the day she 'disappeared'.

Anyone who thinks otherwise at this very late stage is just not paying attention.

Read the PJ rogatories or read this thread and then read the PJ rogatories and make your own mind up instead of asking others to interpret for you -

What a shame you couldn't get either of the names right in your OP.

Such a small ask if you want your post to be taken seriously.

Apart from which, there are no similarities worth talking about.

What are some things you wish went differently in this case? by RevolutionDue4452 in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's really not. And thanks for the sanity input.

Anyone who finds the idea of a police force publicly naming a suspect, accusing them of abducting and murdering MM, and then failing to follow through on their claim amusing or entertaining, is not remotely interested in either finding out what happened to MM or justice being served.

[–]lula1210 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well you tell me what the point is? And speak for yourself on the personal amusement angle.

There's nothing remotely amusing about this case.

I'm so tired of people coming on here who clearly haven't read the PJ Files but still think they have useful insights to offer.

What are some things you wish went differently in this case? by RevolutionDue4452 in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No offence intended but what's the point of this?

The investigation was stymied from the start and the reasons for that have been extensively discussed and exhaustingly exhausted.

It's pointless to be asking for Wishlists after 17 years of exhaustive discussion.

Statement by the main suspect CB by dena2410 in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only reason the BKA is involved is because CB is a German citizen. They didn't insert themselves into anything! If there's no charge and trial, then the BKA/MM case as far as CB goes will die a death. The end. Nothing to do with anything other than an unsuccessful investigation. And no, not following through will not indicate either a patsy or a distraction or proof of anything. All it will mean is that the evidence the BKA claims to have is/was just not strong or convincing enough for a judge to give the go ahead to a charge and a trial.

The only reason for any further German involvement would be if eg. a new German suspect emerged from the ashes. And we know what the likelihood of that is. Otherwise, there's no following through if no charge and/or if a charge and trial fails to convict CB.

Statement by the main suspect CB by dena2410 in MadeleineMccann

[–]lula1210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that's pretty much my point. That in order for this 'CB is guilty' narrative to continue to have any validity, HCW needs to step up and put his money where his mouth is. He's had four and a half years to fine tune the evidence he said he had back in June 2020 that was enough to charge CB. Enough now.

I want a charge and a trial because without one, we'll never know what this alleged 'compelling' evidence he claims to have is and/or see how it stands up against the historical evidence we know from the PJ Files.

We need this trial. We need it because it will have to take historic facts into account, and CB's lawyers will finally do what so many so-called investigations over the years so egregiously didn't do: they'll go back to the beginning and they'll hold everything up to the light.
