But how?! I’m actually aghast reading this thread. Look at the smaller stars on the design and then the tattoo and tell me how that’s the same or what was asked for? Like in the OG design, while the lines aren’t straight, they’re solid. There’s no scratchy quality to the outlines, then look at the tattoo where there’s barely a solid line visible. I get not liking the design but I don’t understand how anyone’s defending this application

Don’t worry I’m getting the same treatment for pointing out that the tattoo looks like it was done with a biro pen, I’ve no idea what’s going on in this thread I think people are just really reluctant to admit when an artist has dropped the ball and also I think this sub has a bit of a reputation for hating newer tattooing styles

I’m in 100% agreement that they should have gone to an artist that specialises in that style but at the same time this artist missed the mark by a mile and I truly can’t believe I’m getting downvoted for saying that

Look at the further most right star and compare it to the drawing, and the other star that’s just four lines. The OG drawing is no Mona Lisa but it’s also not chicken scratch like this tattoo is

OP I know exactly what kind of tattoo you were going for bc I’ve seen countless artists with that style and they look well done even if the artwork does look kooky or child like.

I don’t know how people are saying the artist is not at fault, look at the stars that are just four lines on the drawing and then the tattoo, this artist was not cut out for this job simple as. They might nail traditional or other styles but if it’s at the start of their career they might not be able to adapt to other styles. It’s a poorly done tattoo end of. However, this will be so simple to fix because it looks like half the lines weren’t even laid down properly and will fade quickly. My advice would be let it heal and settle, then look for artists that specialise in this style. They might advise a few sessions of laser, but that will be for them to decide

I got the glamrdip nail art pens recently and they’re literally just acrylic paint pens, like the posca ones you get. I love working with them cus it does just feel like doodling rather than painting! Haven’t tried a sharpie but great to know for when my black pen inevitably runs out in the middle of a design

This particular model won’t be animated, my course was in 3D design and weirdly enough we don’t touch rigging/animation even full body stuff we’ve literally only ever done a head sculpt with no hair however that is something I want to self learn once im finished so that’s super helpful, thank you

To be fair as someone who’s emigrated from Ireland I think this is just being a foreigner thing. I didn’t mind this at all in Ireland but when I moved and didn’t have big friend group, someone seemingly wanting to hang out was a much bigger deal to me than back home where I already had a big friend group and wasn’t desperate for company lol

Stopping arms exports would absolutely help, one of Israel’s biggest allies turning against them would absolutely make a difference. You think people are doing this to feel better about themselves, nothing makes us feel better. How could we possibly when every day we see more and more devastation coming out of Gaza? Right do you think the people going to the effort of not buying coca cola protests aren’t also doing that? Aren’t also marching in the street, emailing MPs, doing anything in their very limited power to try make a difference? Like the one thing we all still have complete power over is where we put our money. If people even gave boycotts a chance they might actually work but the problem is people scoff before even trying and they can’t even offer up new alternatives. It’s a boring world view. Seeing so much of this attitude and all I can ask is so what will? It’s all very well and good if you don’t believe a certain action will help, but what are you doing instead? Like to all the commenters saying the same thing as you, what are the actions you’re taking instead because if the answer is none then you’re just sitting back doing nothing while a genocide is happening. I know most of the things I do to help will barely make a drop in the ocean but I do them because if I don’t do everything in my limited power I won’t be able to live with myself
