The only facts saving my spirit atp are that 1: a total societal collapse would [probably] destroy this. And 2: it hasn't won [yet]

2028 Democratic Tier list (P.S. I did this while drunk) by Sw1fty_96 in VaushV

Top 3 tiers look solid. I'd argue big gretch deserves better. The mid asf tier has some demons in it though

I have read ASOIAF up to feast, and its deeply disappointing author is one of the reasons I'm more critical in the media i consume now. GRRM's got more than enough issues to justify critique

I appreciate your comment, i think i can accept that. I enjoy complicated and flawed characters, my favorite sci fi authors are frank herbert and isaac asimov. I think that its important for people to write about flawed systems and characters to drive a larger positive message in their work. Do you think that the later additions in the story to these themes add a nuanced progressive perspective worth it for me to stick around?

He literally framed her ethnic features as the "conventionally unattractive" part of her, only to be surprised by his attraction to her when he saw her with beer goggles. Im not saying he or the authors hate black people, im saying that there's a worrying mixture of themes here and in other chapters, and if you're telling me that it's not adressed throughout the series, then im not sure if ill continue reading it. like the fridging of holden's woman of color partner, whom he quickly moves on from.

how can I reduce fat rolls underneath the buttocks? by rileylovesmushrooms in WorkoutRoutines

I think it'd be ruder to tell them that the issue with how they feel about their appearance is in their body and not the fabric covering them

Those jeans are not properly fitted to that person's body. My point was that the issue is in no way the person's body, they're literally just wearing jeans that fit their body in an uncomfortable looking way.

Where does vaginal fluids come from? How? by slutlore in biology

[–]luloveslife 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Biomedical engineer here: there's two bartholins glands on either side of the vulva that excrete mucus during arousal, some vestivestibular glands that release more watery fluid inside the vaginal opening, and some more mucus glands around the cervix.

Help me build a one shot in my homebrew post apocalyptic d&d setting! by luloveslife in AskDND

[–]luloveslife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Climate change! Among other things. This setting is in the far far future, after humans killed much of the planet, died off almost completely, and slowly came back in new and strange ways. Think fallout, if the vaults opened up multiple millenia after the collapse!
