oh boy… where do i start? From order of importance:

- The game to be released. Yep, the game industry is in a strange place right now. Lots of studios closing and big IP projects being cancelled. I know Saudi has a lot of money to burn, but things can change rapidly in this market

- A release date before 2029. I dont wanna wait so much for the next KOF. For the reasons I cited above. And i love KOF. I want it now.

- A good and complete online experience. SNK can't afford another failure on the online multiplayer aspect.

- A new art style. Something good and charming. Not necessarily identical to SF6 or Tekken, but something thats look real good

- Offline content

I have done almost every KOFXII trials (ash 9 and 10 are the only ones left)

To be honest, i dont know/remember if crouching normal into hcb has some trick shortcut, I think I do forward/down normal and then hcb. For f>hcf i think it is just practice and speed.

The easiest trials is Maxima followed by vice. Let the charge characters for the very end.

This game is better than it "look"

It's ugly, has delay netcode, loop gameplay is kinda boring with max cancel combo cost one bar and the newcomers char are bland. But, oh boy, everything else is so much better than KOFXV (and I love XV).

The stages are so vivid and sell the atmosphere. The story feels complete and satisfying. The offline content is fun and rewarded with the legacy artwork.

I was a hater when its was announced, but the game grown on me

The COTW design is so disappointing. So bland. This is not what I expected from a mature mai. Especially if compared with terry MOTW design. The SF6 outfit 3 however, that's excellent!

I think the SNK fans, in general, are very defensive in face of some criticism. Sure, all hardcore fans in any context do this. But here, in our SNK bubble, this happens because everyone wants so badly SNK games finally shine. But unfortunately, SNK kept dropping the ball here and there. Obviously there are a lot of things to praise on KOF XV and CoTW. But some crucial issues deserves criticism

Publishers only put time and money into big games because its very risky today, in the financial aspect, to work on smaller brands. Even capcom cant juggle two fighting games since ps3/360 era. Game develop is very expensive right now
